Maha Cundi Dharani (2 hour version) ǀ for Protection & Destruction of Negative Karma

As the Buddha was expounding this Dharma of the Great Cundī Dhāraṇī, innumerable sentient beings shunned dust and filth [their afflictions], and gained the virtue of the Great Cundī Dhāraṇī, the great illumination mantra. 🌅The Spiritual Path
Life is a good teacher and a good friend. Things are always in transition, if we could only realize it. Nothing ever sums itself up in the way that we like to dream about. The off-center, in between state is an ideal situation, a situation in which we can open our hearts and minds beyond limit.

To stay with that shakiness - to stay with a broken heart, with a rumbling stomach, with the feeling of hopelessness and wanting to get revenge - that is the path of true awakening. Sticking with that uncertainty, getting the knack of relaxing in the midst of chaos, learning not to panic - this is the spiritual path. Getting the knack of catching ourselves, of gently and compassionately catching ourselves, is the path of the warrior.

🌅Children of God
Once a healthy, wealthy, and wise prince dreamed that he was poor. In The dream he shouted, "Oh, I am suffering from cancer and I have lost all my wisdom and riches." His wife, the queen, woke up and rouse him, saying, "Look, prince, laugh and rejoice, for you are neither suffering from sickness nor have you lost your riches and wisdom. You are lying comfortably at my side with health and wisdom, in your rich kingdom. You were only dreaming these catastrophes."

If we can feel now that, as children of God, we possess everything even as our Father does, wheather we are outwardly poor or rich, we can achieve freedom. If we can feel that we have divine knowledge because we are made in the image of God, although humanly speaking we know little - then we can free ourselves.

God in his infinite love, is calling the soul continuously to come back to His eternal kingdom of Bliss.

️🌅️ ️️Feeding the Right Wolf
A native American grandfather was speaking to his grandson about violence and cruelty in the world and how it comes about. He said it was as if two wolves were fighting in his heart. One wolf was vengeful and angry, and the other wolf was understanding and kind. The young man asked his grandfather which wolf would win the fight in his heart. And the grandfather answered, "'the one that wins will be the one I choose to feed.'"

So this is our challenge, the challenge for our spiritual practice and the challenge for the world -- how can we train right now, not later in feeding the right wolf? How can we call on our innate intelligence to see what helps and what hurts, what escalates aggression and what uncovers our good-heartedness? Even the slightest gesture toward feeding the right wolf will help. Now more than ever, we are in this together.
