Somatic Nourishment ~ Water & Winter Solstice 💙✨
This winter solstice, come join me for a guided somatic movement and dance experience that honours water's wisdom and the longest night before the light begins its return.
This is an invitation to slow down, to listen to your body, and to explore what water has to teach us in this season of deep rest and renewal.

What to expect: We'll gather for 90 minutes of somatic exploration—gentle movement, creative expression, and connecting with water's elemental intelligence—plus an optional 30 minutes for those who'd like a soft landing and closing.
Just you, your body's wisdom, and the choice to move, rest, or witness in whatever way feels true for you.
Everything is adaptable to your body's needs—you can participate seated, standing, lying down, or simply being. All bodies welcome. No previous experience needed. Your nourishment is the priority.

Details: 📅 Winter Solstice 💻 Zoom (from the comfort of your own space) ⏰ 2 hours total (90

Communication with my ancestrals oftens flows through creativity and movement practices. Facilitating in community, allows me to share aspects of this practice as well as offerings that are created.

Important Update:
It has come to my attention that my company name Embodied Therapy Toronto was used to create separate Instagram and Facebook handles in addition to using some of my copy in full and in part.

In an effort to create clarity and offer transparency to those who have worked with me in the past, to those who've expressed confusion and anyone else: this occurred without my consent or knowledge. I have engaged in action so that this does not happen in the future again.
I do not and have never had any affiliated partners and employees that work with me.
Please know that all contact regarding my company or inquiries about opportunities to work with me are always sent directly from me and never through a third party.
If you are interested in learning more about workshops I offer and facilitate, I am always happy to communicate regarding future opportunities for building collective experiences of embodied liberation and resilience for BIPOC.
Please feel free to contact me directly should you have questions regarding the above: camille@embodied-therapy.ca

Decolonizing mental health practices requires not only one-on-one therapy spaces to name and validate the impact of colonial oppression and inter-generational traumas as a result, but also requires collective healing models derived from IBPOC's communities and cultures. Incl. supporting, valuing and respecting the sovereignty of these cultural communities.

Wrapping up the year of 2019 feels incredibly moving. I cannot say enough how I love what I do and feel deeply blessed to get to know and work with very amazing clients.

2019 of Embodied Therapy has given me the gift of continuous learning, witnessing and hearing what true resilience and courage looks like. It's been an absolute honour walking/dancing/sitting alongside you all.

Here's to bringing in 2020 with the knowledge that we don't have to do it all alone, support can come from the most unsuspecting places and that sometimes we just need to be reminded of who we are.

Here's to everyone doing the work of self-care/ re-parenting / surviving / getting by / growing & healing.

Happy New Year!
