July 30 is World Day against Trafficking in Persons. This day is remembered using the Blue Heart campaign which signals solidarity with the victims of human trafficking as well as the coldheartedness of those who buy and sell their fellow human beings. This year’s campaign highlights the vital role of law enforcement and the criminal justice system in dismantling organized trafficking networks while ensuring a victim-centered approach.

The Nursing Supervisors would like to pass the Collaboration Cup to the Housekeeping Department! The supervisors work during off-hours and would like to recognize the housekeepers who work hard to keep the hospital clean and respond to any requests that are made, noting that Mr. Rich and Angel have been so helpful and supportive. The supervisors are so appreciative of their hard work, especially when problems arise and Mr. Rich and Angel are always willing to lend a hand.

The following are comments from the nursing supervisors:
“Angel and Mr. Rich: Thank you for your dedication to cleaning and maintaining the building during the night shift. You may not think that your hard work isn't noticed but we do notice and appreciate your hard work. Angel we also appreciate your flexibility and patience when something happens on a unit that requires your immediate attention. You're also always quick to answer the call when staff needs assistance to feel safe entering the facility overnight.”

“Your work is truly appreciated. Thanks so much for all you do.”

About Hampton Behavioral Health Center

A Higher Standard of Care

Hampton Behavioral Health Center offers unparalleled inpatient and outpatient treatment for adolescents, adults, dually diagnosed adults (mental health and addiction issues) and older adults. Understanding the diverse needs of our patients, we also offer Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) on both an inpatient and outpatient basis. Our main campus is centrally located in Westampton Township, New Jersey, and houses our 110-bed inpatient facility as well as Hampton Counseling Center, providing Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization (PHP) services. Hampton Counseling Center’s satellite outpatient locations are located in Cherry Hill, Camden County and Hamilton Township.

We treat a variety of psychiatric diagnoses, including, but not limited to, depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, psychosis and behavioral health conditions with co-occurring chemical dependencies. Most patients are admitted to Hampton Behavioral Health Center voluntarily; however, sometimes family or friends intervene to help a loved one who may be putting themselves or others at risk. Hampton Behavioral Health Center’s dedicated units and distinct programs are designed to meet the unique needs of each population we serve. After a comprehensive evaluation to assess a patient’s needs, a multidisciplinary treatment team develops a treatment plan tailored for that patient. The treatment team is led by a psychiatrist and consists of advanced practice nurses, registered nurses, licensed social workers, creative therapists, addiction counselors and mental health associates.
