Extended-wear soft contact lenses can be worn all the time, including while sleeping. Depending on whether a person has 7-day (standard) or 30-day lenses, the lenses need to be taken out and cleaned once a week or once a month. This is done to give the eyes a rest, and reduce the risk of a corneal infection. Schedule an appointment to learn if extended-wear contacts are right for you!

If a person has 20/50 vision, it means that they must be as close as 20 feet to see what a person with normal vision can see at 50 feet.
