Our Fall Festival was a wonderful success! We welcomed 15 fantastic vendors, hosted a delicious bake sale, a fun white elephant sale, and raffled off 7 amazing gift baskets. Thanks to everyone’s support, we raised funds that will help make our Activities Program even more successful in the months ahead. A big thank you to our residents, families, staff, and community for making this such a great day!

This week's outing took us to the Samuel Slater Museum, where residents enjoyed a wonderful guided tour led by the knowledgeable staff, who highlighted all the fascinating exhibits and history the museum has to offer. Afterward, we stopped for lunch at Lakeside Pizzeria in Webster and enjoyed some of the best pizza around! What a fun and memorable day!

A great day at The Highlands! Our residents enjoyed a delicious lunch outing at a local restaurant, where we also celebrated a special birthday. In the afternoon, the fun continued with a lively game of Beanbag Baseball — residents versus staff! The room was filled with laughter, cheering, and plenty of friendly competition. Early last week we had an amazing visit from the 2nd grade class at the local elementary school to celebrate the first day of autumn! Together, we made beautiful fall wreaths, enjoyed a wonderful performance of songs by the students, and shared in the joy of storytelling as our resident, Luree, read a heartwarming story about friendship.

It was such a special day filled with creativity, laughter, and meaningful connections across generations.
