I’ve been dreaming about this for a long time…

And after experiencing it firsthand as an expert speaker at a recent women’s health panel in Lexington, I know I want to make it happen right here in Westborough.

Last week I was an expert speaker that gathered over 50 women in one room to talk openly about metabolic health, menopause, hormones, and disease prevention through lifestyle and integrative medicine.

So many great questions. So much power in simply feeling seen and heard.

We need more of this.

We need more conversations that go deeper, not just surface-level wellness, but real discussions on integrative health and how to actually build it into our lives.

We need more expert voices in the integrative and functional health space, credentialed professionals who bring both science and lived experience to the table.

And we need more spaces where women can gather, learn from these voices, and feel truly seen, heard, and supported in their health journeys.

So here’s what I’m building:

The Integrative Health Speaker Series: Expert Insights & Real Talk

A rotating expert speaker series focused on integrative, functional, and whole-person health, right here in Westborough!

I’m curating a panel of credentialed, personally vetted professionals—doctors, advanced practice providers, nurses, physical therapists, certified personal trainers, dietitians, experienced integrative health experts and more—who will share evidence-based insight on the health issues that matter most.

🗓 Events will likely be held on Wednesday evenings, 7–9 PM in Westborough (details coming soon).

If that resonates with you, I’d love your help spreading the word.

✅ Fill out this quick Google Form [link in comments] to stay in the loop and help me bring this vision to life.

Every response helps shape what’s next and ensures we’re creating something our community truly wants and needs.

Let’s build something powerful for women’s health right here in our own community!

Not local? In between panel events, I’ll also offer optional virtual workshop-style sessions with select speakers for those who want to go deeper on a specific topic. These will be separate ticketed events. You can fill out the form if this interests you!

I’m officially GLP-1 Optimizer Certified! 🥳

Metabolic health has always been at the heart of my work because it’s the foundation for so much: blood sugar balance, hormone health, inflammation, mood, and sustainable weight.

I have spent the last couple of years working closely with patients on GLP-1 medications, as well as those seeking support for weight loss and metabolic health without medication.

That’s why I pursued advanced certification with Keri Glassman, Nutritious Life Ashley Koff RD LLC for GLP-1 Optimizer™ training (thank you Keri & Ashley for your support and continued mentorship in this rapidly changing field). This program goes far beyond medication! It taught me how to assess and support GLP-1 (and related hormones like PYY and CCK), whether someone is using a GLP-1 agonist or not.

I have always been a whole-body practitioner, and now I have an even larger toolkit to support my patients and clients.

The magic happens with understanding the system behind appetite, cravings, and metabolism, and then working with your body to optimize blood sugar and insulin, gut health and digestion, satiety and appetite signaling, nervous system and vagal tone, sleep, stress, and hormone rhythms.

Medications like Ozempic, Wegovy, and Zepbound can be helpful tools, but there’s a whole system to consider! This certification gave me more tools to support both those on medication and those looking for a non medication approach to sustainable metabolic health.

If you are looking for metabolic health and weight support, I’d love to help.

If you are on weight loss medication, I can help you protect muscle mass, nourish the gut, support digestion, navigate side effects, and CGM data to personalize your plan.

If you are not on weight loss medication, we can optimize this system using nutrition, targeted supplementation, stress regulation, sleep, movement, and CGM data to personalize your plan.

You can book a complimentary call to get started (link in comments), DM’s or comment, “Tools,” below.

Several years ago, I made a big change!
Faced with an odd constellation of symptoms, I went looking for answers.

Functional gut testing showed that gluten sensitivity may be contributing, so I cut it out!

Fast fast forward almost seven years later, and my symptoms are completely gone.

Was it the removal of gluten?
Maybe, maybe not. What I have learned as a nurse and integrative/functional health expert, is that it is rarely the removal or elimination of just ONE thing.

I am now gluten-freeish, because, pizza! This NY girl is never happy with GF pizza crust).

But being gluten-free brought new challenges, especially when I started wearing a continuous glucose monitor (CGM)…hello new eating hurdle!

My annual labs looked great, perfect A1c, but my CGM told a different story (as it often does!)

My favorite GF bread and almond flour crackers were spiking my blood sugar—and that was the wake-up call I didn’t expect.

Suddenly, gluten-free wasn’t enough.

Damn, really?! It felt like one more restriction. One more confusing layer.

I had to become gluten-free and blood sugar smart.

This was the catalyst for my love affair with CGM’s and all things cardiometabolic health.

It also sparked me to get even more intentional with my food choices, now that I was gluten-freeish, and trying to maintain steady blood sugar levels.

I created a FREE 3-Day Email Challenge: Master Gluten-Free Eating for Prediabetes, to help you build a truly blood sugar-friendly gluten-free plate. It’s designed for women navigating prediabetes or insulin resistance. You’ll learn:
 ✔ Common GF mistakes that spike blood sugar
 ✔ Smarter snack and meal pairing tips
 ✔ How to build a plate that actually supports your metabolism

I’m sharing exclusively as part of Jennifer Marcks, the founder of Gluten-Free MARCKS the Spot, event the Gluten-Free Resource Toolkit, a bundle of 24+ FREE resources from amazing wellness experts (available through May only).

💬 comment “gluten” and I’ll DM the link ☺️

I love a good plan…but there’s nothing like your own data to personalize it.

One of my clients had been feeling so frustrated—she was diagnosed with prediabetes after two years of slow weight gain, even though she was eating healthy and exercising.

Her doctor told her, “Just eat better and move more.”

She thought, “But I’m already doing that!”

Then she came across one of my posts where I was (as usual) geeking out about CGMs and decided to reach out.

She signed up for my CGM Empowerment Package on the spot 🤗.

Fast forward to one month later, and cue the tears in my eyes, because at one of her follow-up calls she shared how this little device helped her go from feeling deflated to empowered.

She could finally see what was causing her high blood sugar and how her body was responding to food, stress, and even sleep.

She was making changes in her diet and lifestyle habits-not based on a guessing, or her doctor’s generic advice, but her own data.

This is what can happen when you move from confusion to clarity. And honestly, it feels so damn good.

If you’ve been diagnosed with prediabetes, or just feel stuck, I’d love to help you find the tools (and support) that can make this easier.

💬 What’s one health or wellness tool that’s been a total game changer for you? (I’ll share mine in the comments too!)

P.S. I also LOVE supporting the blood sugar curious, ie. non-prediabetics looking to explore whether blood sugar regulation is at the root of symptoms: fatigue, mood changes, weight gain, headaches and more! If this is you, the CGM Empowerment Package is for you too!

04/11/2025

He skipped beer for a week and dropped 5 pounds. You ate a salad and gained weight. Sound familiar?”

Psst…You are not a smaller, less successful version of a man.

But I can’t tell you how many women I work with compare themselves to their partner.

If that sounds familiar… you’re not alone.
And because we could all use this reminder…we are not built the same as men.

I know you know this, but do you KNOW this?!

Women’s bodies are hormonally complex and beautifully sensitive to things like stress, sleep, food, and blood sugar.

We live in a constant rhythm—until that rhythm starts to shift.

In perimenopause and menopause, everything changes:
* Estrogen starts to decline
* Insulin resistance increases
* Cortisol hits harder
* Cravings feel stronger
* Fat stores more easily
* What sleep?

Meanwhile, your generic advice from your doctor is to “eat a healthy diet and exercise….”

But that mindset only fuels shame when it doesn’t work.  You’re a woman in a body that’s asking for something different!

And that’s why I created this workshop:
 The Midlife Metabolism Reset: How to Balance Hormones, Lose Weight, and Improve Energy, Naturally.

I understand all the confusion you may have because I’ve seen it firsthand working in primary care and in my own integrative practice.

We’ll talk about blood sugar, weight loss resistance, hunger hormones, and the real lifestyle shifts that make a difference in midlife.

If you’re a woman 40+, and have been feeling stuck, confused, or just ready to understand your midlife metabolism once and for all, this is your chance.
When: Monday, April 14th, 7-8:30 pm
Where: Virtual [Zoom]
Ticket Cost: $30.00
Link in bio or comment “workshop”

💻 Can’t make the live workshop? A recording will be provided to all registered attendees.
  ✨Plus….I have something special to share that I’ve never offered before..
