Meet Bill Donovan, Materials Handler, one of our “unsung heroes.”

He has been with us for 2 years and has been the sole materials handler for quite some time now. Bill says he enjoys working here because he is allowed to do his work independently knowing that his supervisor trusts him to get everything accomplished. He is a super hard worker and says that the real unsung heroes of Whittier are the staff on the units!

🌟Whittier TCU Testimonial🌟 We recently had the pleasure of helping a lovely lady on her path to recovery. “Michele” arrived at the TCU with a variety of medical issues several weeks ago, and she left vastly improved with, in her words, “a new lease on life.”

Michele asked us to commend “the fantastic staff at TCU.” They are: P/Ts Mike, Erin, Greta, and Morgan; CNAs Michael, Tyler, Sam, Mindy, and Hope; and Nurses Josie, Missy, Kim, and Mark. Michele also commended our Social Worker Marie, our Activity Director Allen, our Case Manager Lisa, our Unit Manager Lori, and our Unit Secretary Trish. She gave very special shout-outs to our Director of Nursing Gabe, and Dr. E. Terova. Michele stated that “It’s the people who make the difference! Each one of them is directly responsible for my recovery.”

Additionally, Michele boasted that “the food has been excellent - I’ve ordered the vanilla pudding EVERY DAY of my stay!” A resounding endorsement!

Having overcome multiple medical challenges, especially back problems, Michele represents a success story that each of us at the TCU is proud to have been a part of. We wish our delightful patient the very best! ❤

Here’s our 🌟“Unsung Hero”🌟 Paul Gaudette, Maintenance Mechanic, keeping our walkways safe during this busy snow season.

Paul has been on our maintenance team for almost three years. He’s super friendly and helpful and is always willing to lend a hand no matter what it is, or what he is doing. Paul says: “I love my job and the people I work with. I have the best boss - he trusts and respects me, and Whittier treats me well!”
