Tuesday was our Rehab Aide Sam's last day in the outpatient clinic before she starts nursing school.

The “Brady bunch” made sure to see her before she starts the next steps of her nursing career. Sally Brady was previously a nurse and they grew very close over their shared interest, and Ivan Brady gifted her two of his books for some lighter reading than those nursing school textbooks.

Everyone is so proud of Sam and the positive impact that she has had on our patients at the outpatient clinic. We wish her all the best in her nursing studies and hope to see her here again at Whittier soon! 💪❤

Terry Petruska, RD, LDN retired after an amazing 21 years here as our Chief Clinical Dietitian. She said what she loved the most about working here was the team approach, and that she has never worked in a setting where the team approach and communication has been so vital to the betterment of the patients.

Terry said that it was a tough decision to retire, but she is looking forward to more time with her grandkids, more time at the beach and getting back into singing in her church choir. We miss her already! ❤

Anne wore a special outfit to her outpatient graduation! She started her journey on December 18 due to shoulder pain from a rotator cuff repair, and she just graduated on April 30. 💪

Her outfit was inspired by the love of cats that she shared with her physical therapist Brandon Zeh, PT, DPT, CSCS, which formed a bond between them during her therapy. 🐈
