This morning, the Corridor 9/495 Regional Chamber of Commerce of MetroWest had the honor of hosting a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to celebrate the Grand Opening of honeygrow in Shrewsbury.

Congratulations to Greg Hoonjan, Executive Director, The Willows at Westborough, SALMON at Westborough as the Chambers 2025 Young Business Professional of the Year!

Greg was born in Toronto and moved to Massachusetts in 2000. He enjoyed playing basketball and dreamed of becoming an NBA player someday. However, he knew very early on that his real passion was in health care. Greg is a graduate of Assumption University with a Bachelors Degree in Biology, and holds a Masters Degree in Health Administration with a focus on gerontology from the University of Phoenix. It wasn’t long after college that Greg found his career passion in senior and long term care. He has been the Executive Director for the Willows at Westborough for 3 years, and prior to that, he held the leadership position of Nursing Home Administrator for Next Step Healthcare and Whittier Health Network. He is passionate about community involvement and giving back. He actively contributes as a Board member of the American Heart Association, an advisory board member for the Froelich School of Nursing, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Chamber. As a volunteer for the Chamber, he is very actively involved as an Ambassador, serves on the Young Business Professional’s Steering Committee, recruits and mentors new Chamber members, participates in our community service projects, and attends ribbon cuttings to show support to new members.
