It will be a year of healing for me this March. I began The metabolism Reboot March 2023!
All in I have lost 28 pounds.
But for me, it was more about healing my body with food, flushing toxins, getting rid of inflammation and learning how to eat.

Maybe like you, I couldn’t figure get the 80/20 rule to work for me in any weight loss plan I tried.
I would work so hard to lose 6 pounds and then it would come right back on.

The harder I worked out the worse everything got!

I found TMR and my whole life changed.
I slowed everything way down, I used food to heal my body and now the 80/20 rule works perfectly.

Many people use talking badly about others as a way to make connections. This usually always backfires.
You see, if a person talks s**t, they usually do it with everyone. SO, before you make a bond with someone over talking smack about another, ask yourself a few questions:
 
1.    Does it feel good? Meaning does this conversation lift you up and bring positive vibes to your day.
2.    Is it really how I feel? Don’t agree just to be accepted.
3.    Are you cool with the whole world hearing about what you said?
 
We all want to be loved and accepted- to belong. No matter our age, but making real authentic relationships built on fun, common interests and mutual love and care IS THE ONLY WAY TO GO.
 
So ditch the negative BS, go for honesty and authenticity. 🥰🤩

For my birthday I am asking people to join my team, The Presidents Circle for One Mission's new event Conquer the Course. 

This event will be November, 4 at breathtaking Wachusett Mountain. 

I am walking but you can run it if you like! This event will leave you feeling so good about yourself, there will be surprise obstacles on the course- just like in cancer treatment. You will challenge yourself as far as you want to; go all the way or take it easy. Up to you!

Don't worry, if you cannot do the challenges for whatever reason all you have to do is 10 pushups to get out of it (on your knees is fine).

Meditation isn't a surface level practice.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Rather it is a deep method of healing the mind, body and spirit. It is when the mind is quiet and the body still when the magic happens. 🤍

For many, getting to the place of a quiet mind and a still body can take months to years. That shouldn't deter you from beginning a practice, because each meditation session you enjoy is healing in and of itself. Each session builds on top of the previous one and so on and so forth.

When you let go and relax into your practice, you are allowing the emotional healing to take place. Like when we dig a hole in the ground, we must excavate and disrupt the earth; our emotions need the same process. As for the earth our bodies may feel a little disruption during our process of healing. Allow this, don't restrict it. Trust the process and let it all unfold as it will. 🙏

It doesn't matter if you have chronic back pain, headaches, anxiety or unexplained stomach issues; there could very well be unresolved emotions causing your issues.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Unhealed childhood stress and trauma will absolutely show up in the body of the adult child; it is a fact.

Add that to an adult life with responsibilities and adult traumas and you have yourself a nervous system on overload!

Chronic adult stress from either having a sick child, work related issues, abuse, or the caring and then loss of a parent are all long-term fight or flight situations for your body and nervous system that need healing.

Find a way to give voice to the unspoken emotions in your body, the ones you ignored in order to survive as a child AND the ones your adult self endure on the daily!

I journal and enjoy weekly therapy sessions!

Find what works for you, just don't DO NOTHING.

Our nervous systems can't heal by themselves!

Hypervigilance is a fear response based in a traumatic past. ​​​​​​​​​Do you find yourself preparing for what could go wrong all the time?​​​​​​​​​This is your nervous system trying to keep you safe.

If you are in a constant state of worry I encourage you to explore events from your past that perhaps you have not fully resolved yet 🤍

Find a trauma certified therapist who uses Family Systems Method and Inner Child healing.

Not every therapist specializes in these....pick carefully!

Healing is a journey. Healing is a long process.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Be proud of how far you've come (even if it's day 1) be proud of yourself for starting this journey.

Enjoy the process, rather than focusing on the outcome.

Always be kind to yourself. Always take care of yourself. I am cheering you on. 🤍
