Checker’s Biography
Checker Ives, LMT has been a Certified Reflexologist and Licensed Massage Therapist for over 30 years. Her longstanding passion and interest in massage modalities grew from her experience as a professional modern dancer in New York City. She is a graduate of The Swedish Institute of Massage Therapy, NYC and has studied Reflexology with Elaine Hyams, Laura Norman, and currently with Dr. Jesus Manzanares and Linda Chollar. She has taught courses in both Reflexology and Massage Therapy at several institutes. She is a dedicated practitioner of Insight Meditation, loves music, dance, poetry, and being outdoors. She lives with her family in Westborough, MA.
