I would love to share a profound experience I had today.

I was fortunate enough to work with a young man who is not only deaf, but was born with a host of other challenges making it difficult for us to communicate without his mother.

I rely on the auditory sense a lot during reiki, from the music I play, to the explanation, meditation, and real time feedback.

As soon as I put my hands on the young man however, his body instantly quieted, he relaxed, closed his eyes and smiled. The energy took care of everything it needed to and we communicated soul to soul. It was incredible and one of the deepest connections I've felt with a client.

Reiki transcends spoken communication and I experienced today what the energy itself is indeed all about.

Reiki connects all of us ❤️💙💜🩷💛💚
