Meet Kate! She was just 33 when diagnosed with stage 2B breast cancer. As a healthcare worker, Kate went looking for provider information and found out that Dr's Battelli and Teller are, as she put it, “The best of the best.”

Kate has had surgery and chemotherapy and is happy to report that she is now Cancer-FREE! We celebrated with Dr. Teller and the Portland Hearts of Pine.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the S**o Police Department is proud to support the fight against breast cancer through the Pink Patch Project!

The S**o Police Department became the first police agency in Maine to register with the Pink Patch Project in 2020, and since then have raised thousands of dollars to support local breast care centers. This month, we ask for your help to make this project a success.

All proceeds go to local breast care centers.

How to participate:

• Purchase a limited-edition 2025 pink S**o PD patch for $10.
• Pick up your patch at S**o PD at 20 Storer Street or call (207) 284-4535.

Show your support this October and help make a difference in our community. Every patch counts!
