Today is National Good Neighbor Day! Our residents are always finding ways to give back to the community. In celebration of some of our outstanding “Good Neighbors,” we recently enjoyed an engaging presentation on Climate Change from Bill and Karl. Lila took us on a journey through her Armchair Travels program, sharing stunning photos from her adventures. Bob, our resident gardening expert, keeps our garden in top shape and also volunteers at our sister community, Avita. These are just a few examples of the many inspiring individuals who call Stroudwater Lodge home.

What a sweet day! 🍦 Our residents enjoyed some beautiful weather after a couple days of rain at Smiling Hill Farm. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery and gardens, and of course topped it off with some delicious farm-fresh ice cream! 🐄🚜

To wrap up Assisted Living Week, we want to say THANK YOU to the incredible people who make Stroudwater Lodge a special place that feels like home - our associates!! Our last stop on our “Ageless Adventure Around the World” was Europe! We did European Edition of brain games and an English/Irish Pub style Trivia to train our brains and learn about the culture. During Cooking Up Memories, we made an Irish Soda Bread, that brought back memories from one of our resident’s childhood in Ireland. During our Tastes of Europe social, we recognized our residents and associates from England, France, Ireland, Norway, Denmark, and Yugoslavia by sharing delicious tea, snacks, and appetizers from the countries. We finished off the day by watching Mamma Mia! 🌍🇬🇧🇫🇷🇮🇪🇳🇴🇩🇰
