Would you drink out of a pipe sticking out of a rock on the side of a busy road?

This is one of only a few roadside spring water spouts in Maine that are regulated by the State of Maine’s Drinking Water Program (DWP) because of the number of people who use them for drinking water. Fortunately, cool clear water runs year-round. They are tested on a regular basis for contaminants. And the water tastes absolutely amazing.
