Creative Works developed from an association founded in 1967 by parents to provide education and training for their children with disabilities. In the ensuing years, the organization has evolved from serving children to serving adults, but has maintained the community-based grassroots spirit on which it was founded. Originally located in the Biddeford/S**o area, CW has expanded its service to include offices in Westbrook, S**o, Lewiston, South Portland, Augusta, and Auburn. CW programs and services provide assistance to over 250 people daily. These services include employment in area businesses, as well as CW owned businesses; residential support; independent and group living; and personal development through comprehensive community services.
