Thanksgiving Holiday Fund Drive 2017
to assist HOMELESS VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES
A little history......
For the past 5 years, we have assisted the United Veterans Beacon House to help our Nassau and Suffolk homeless veterans and their families on Thanksgiving by raising over $20,000.
UVBH is relying upon the generosity of our friends to help our Veterans, so please help and consider donating whatever you can to this very worthy cause.
UVBH has now expanded and is now helping over 350 U.S. Veterans and their families every day. And they need the community's support more than ever. I am hoping we can all work together, once again, to now put 350 Thanksgiving meals on the tables of our homeless U.S. Veterans who fought for us and our great country when they were called upon to serve.
Together, once again, let us show them our support and appreciation for their ultimate sacrifice.

UVBH assists Veterans from across the nation; we will turn no Veteran away.

United Veterans Beacon House.......
The final totals are in ....The Meadowbrook Pointe Raise the Flag Charity Event raised $13,000 to support veterans in need on Long Island. We want to thank all those who supported the event and we'd like to give a special Thank you to the event chair Mark Dorfman. An event like this takes a lot of hard work and support from the community, on behalf of the veterans we serve we would like to thank the sponsors and food donors for their generosity!!

This year's Raise the Flag charity event is now underway. For this year's event there will be a Flag Raising by the U.S. Marine Corps 2nd Battalion, 25th Marines Honor Guard.
The American Bombshells will be performing and they are spectacular, you can view some of their previous performances on their website www.americanbombshells.com
Every year for the last 4 years, the MP community and their corporate friends have come together and have made generous contributions to support the United Veterans Beacon House. I am hoping this year the Veterans can count on you once again.
I sincerely hope you will consider donating again this year to this worthy cause. The UVBH now has over 350 Veterans and families that they assist and have recently opened a new housing facility at the Northport V.A. Hospital.
Over the years, your generous contributions have made a big impact on the homeless Veterans and their families. Hopefully, this year will not be any different.

UVBH Mission Statement
The mission of the United Veterans Beacon House is to return our homeless veterans and veterans families to independent living. Over our 23 year history we have served more than 20,000 U.S. veterans through our housing program alone, this doesn't account for the thousands we have served through our non- resident programs.
Contributions such as yours help us maintain the 36 homes we manage throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties and the specialized supportive services we provide. The combination of housing and services we offer give the men, women and families the best possible chance of successfully reintegrating back into the Long Island Community. We thank you for your unwavering commitment to our veterans.
