18 years in and I’m still learning… but here’s what’s made me a better coach (and human)

🗣️ Real Talk from a Track Coach:
After almost two decades of coaching high school track & field, I’ve learned a few lessons that have nothing to do with sprint mechanics:

✅Speak their language, if you can’t speak “teenager,” you’re not reaching them.
✅Know their WHY ? Performance starts with purpose.
✅Break your own rules : Growth lives where flexibility meets humility.

These lessons don’t just make me a better coach – they help me create an environment where athletes actually want to get better.

🔥 That’s why I’m bringing that same energy into my Small Group Speed Training this summer, where it’s more than just drills and reps. It’s about connection, coaching, and building confidence through movement.
