Stormy skies and blustery winds. A perfect day for indoor creating. Here's what came through today. A 5x7" art journal for watercolor. Handcrafted and eco-dyed cover papers, wooden button and leather lace closure. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day for potting up my plants.

I LOVE how inspiration comes through when we choose to slow down, be silent, and give no energy to distractions. I share this with you as it just came through in a matter of minutes.

What is Mastery? What is Sovereignty?
If it is not listening to your own Heartbeat
Witnessing your own Self, hearing your own Voice,
Feeling the Spirit urges
Shouting to you, calling to you
With the promise of your own Redemption.
Let not your hesitation hold you back any longer.
Be the joy, the peace, the laughter, the Light
You have always dreamed of Being,
You have always been.
Become it now. In this very instant.
Live it now.
Trust they are here for you.
Waiting patiently for your arrival.

A Pause For Thought

Sometimes we have to cut dreams up

like pieces for a collage,

let the wind swirl them,

whip them,

soften the texture,

then let them fall in a new pattern

piecing them together,

framing a new picture of hope.

This piece was written by our local poetess Joyce Gregor. It immediately prompted me to take this at-home time to create some expression of what I am holding deep within. What are my deepest fears? YOURS? Write, draw, paint, collage. See this as an opportunity for deep compassion and self care in these times, when fear can creep in and whip us to a frenzy.

In whatever medium speaks to you, I challenge you to create something that expresses your "Vision of Hope."

Above all, PAY ATTENTION. I have witnessed so many people in shock--physically clumsy, forgetful, emotionally short-fused, and still in denial. They put all of us at greater risk. If you need support, you know how to reach me!
