Dr Monica Florida native state in the south to earn her bachelor's degree in biology from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia this is where she discovered her passion for dentistry. With a growing interest in oral health and a desire to make a lasting impact, she went on to pursue her doctor of dental medicine degree at Rosamond University of health sciences in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Dr Monica continued her dental education with a one-year residency in advance education in general dentistry at the University of Detroit Mercy in Detroit, Michigan. She then completed a master of science in orthodontics at Seton Hill University Center for Orthodontics in Greensburg, Pennsylvania receiving specialized training in a wide range of orthodontic treatments including traditional braces, Invisalign, early interceptive care, and surgical orthodontics.
Her decision to move to Illinois was driven by a desire to be closer to her sister and her nieces. She is deeply committed to helping patients of all ages achieve healthy confident smiles through compassionate and customized care. Her approach combines the latest in orthodontic techniques with a gentle, patient first philosophy that makes each visit a positive experience.
Dr Monica is also committed to lifelong learning and regularly attends continuing education courses to stay on the leading edge of orthodontic advances. She is a proud member of The Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, The Florida Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society.
Outside of the office Dr Monica enjoys reading playing tennis and golf listening to music traveling and spending time with her family. She is excited to be a part of the spring orthodontics team and is looking forward to being a part of your smile journey.
