The UV index is climbing up to high levels. Keep in mind that sunburns can sneak up on you when it’s cloudy or chilly. DNA damage (which can lead to skin cancer) and collagen damage (which causes wrinkles, forearm bruising, skin fragility) happens with a sunburn and it never goes back to what is once was.

Another good reason to avoid added sugar. Try to reach for a bowl of fruit after dinner rather than baked goods or other ultra-processed food. Frozen blueberries or frozen grapes are my favorites. Your skin will age better and less quickly!

Always remember to apply sunscreen to your neck as well or it will age faster than your face. Bonus, apply your retinoid to your neck as well but watch out for irritation. You may only be able to use it a few times a week on the neck.
