We are seeing an increase of strep throat with our patients. Some tips to reduce the severity and to keep it from spreading through the family are:
- Drink plenty of fluids
- Wash hands frequently
- Cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze
- Don't share drinks or food with others

Daylight Savings Time begins Sunday March 8, 2026. Here are a few quick tips to help our kids adjust to the new time. For the younger bunch, start nudging naps and bedtime in the direction the clocks will change by a few minutes each day. For the older bunch, have them start to wind down a bit earlier each night. Also so try to plan dinner a bit earlier. Eating too close to bedtime can make it hard to sleep.

Q: Received a letter from our Medicaid provider saying our favorite WPS doctor "will no longer be a P*P with" WPS. They even gave me a new P*P! I don't want a new one. I want WPS! What do I do?

A: Don't worry! All of the WPS doctors are still here and still accepting the same Medicaid plans as before. When we joined Privia Health in 2024, some of our business identification numbers changed. Some of the Medicaid providers just updated their systems and the letter was automatically generated. Call your Medicaid provider and let them know you still want your favorite WPS doctor as your P*P.
