Ohio landmarks are shining bright this month, in recognition of Cervical Health Awareness Month; a crucial time to emphasize the importance of cervical cancer prevention.

Over the last thirty years, significant declines in diagnoses and mortality rates have been achieved through increased awareness of the importance of screenings and the HPV vaccine.

We encourage everyone to educate themselves about cervical health and take proactive steps toward prevention.

Together we can work towards eliminating this preventable cancer.

Cervical cancer remains a significant health concern with an estimated 13,360 cases projected in 2025, leading to 4,320
deaths.

Thankfully, awareness and education about screenings and the HPV vaccine have dramatically reduced these numbers over the past three decades. It is vital for healthcare professionals and community advocates to collaborate in promoting awareness and education.

We’re hosting our 13th annual RAR fundraiser along with NewGen Racquet Club on January 24, 2026!

🤠 Dust off your boots and saddle up for Country Western-inspired festivities, pickleball, tennis, dancing and more -- all while supporting cervical cancer prevention.

The💰we raise will help provide cancer patients with food and transportation during treatment and will enable us to offer education and outreach programs throughout Ohio and beyond.
