Every click brings us closer to awareness. 💜

is a national creative campaign by Spectrum Retirement senior living communities to support Alzheimer's Association. Through hand-painted umbrellas, we’re raising visibility for Alzheimer’s and celebrating the power of community art.

Westerville Senior Living designed this Artbrella to reflect the heart and soul of our community. Each panel honors a cherished part of life here—from our energetic Boots & Boogie line dancing class to the uplifting harmonies of our one-of-a-kind WSL Bell Choir. We also gave a nod to beloved programs like Bingo, Garden Club, Golden Threads Needlework, and more—all representing the joy, connection, and creativity that define us.

Created by residents Shirley Earick, Lillian Warchal, Karen Self, Mary Moon, and Edna Roberts, this Artbrella is a colorful tribute to community spirit. We’re competing to win our regional round and move into the Final Four!

Each umbrella is a canvas of hope—designed by our residents, families, and teams to honor memories, raise awareness, and reflect the spirit of their community. These stunning Artbrellas will be proudly showcased at your local Walk to End Alzheimer’s® and other Spectrum fundraising events.

Our May Birthday Bash bloomed into a beautiful Garden Party Wine Tasting under the sunshine! 🌸🍷

Our very own ECII, Autumn, guided residents through a tasting of five carefully selected wines paired with four delicious pastries. With scorecards in hand, residents shared their wine wisdom and learned about the tasting notes as they sipped and savored each pour.

After a string of rainy days, the skies cleared just in time to toast our May birthday stars — it was the perfect pairing of good company, good weather, and great wine.

After weeks of exploring our solar system one celestial body at a time, our residents brought the universe to life with a handmade model of the solar system. Using shaving cream, paint, tape, and paper, they created planets, moons, and stars to scale—infused with color, creativity, and curiosity.

Each month, our residents look forward to a hands-on floral arranging workshop with Jeff, a retired landscaper who generously shares his expertise and love of flowers. From learning why each bloom was chosen to trimming stems just right, the ladies create stunning bouquets that brighten their apartments—and their day.

This simple, joyful tradition continues to blossom into something truly special. 💐
