Nationwide Children’s Hospital, like hospitals across the country, is experiencing abnormally high patient volumes due to the early arrival of RSV, a common, seasonal respiratory virus typically impacting babies. This is especially true in our Emergency Departments and Urgent Care centers. We encourage you to continue to seek care and assure you we are doing all we can to see children as quickly as possible. Though you should always contact your child’s primary care pediatrician first, our facilities continue to have capacity to care for critically ill children. We appreciate your patience and understanding at this time.
