We had a blast celebrating Buckeye Spirit Week with our residents and staff! Everyone showed up in their scarlet and gray, sporting jerseys, hats, beads, pom-poms, and all kinds of fun accessories. 🎉

The week wrapped up with our Tailgate Opener Happy Hour on Friday, where the energy and Buckeye pride were running high. From cheering and laughter to good food and great company, it was the perfect kickoff to football season! 🏈🍻

Thanks to everyone who joined in the fun and showed off their Buckeye spirit — O-H! 🙌

🏐✨ Chair Volleyball is one of the most anticipated activities of the week for our residents — they wait patiently for each session, and once the ball is in the air, the smiles and laughter begin!

Staying active is so important as we age. Chair volleyball not only brings joy and camaraderie, but it also helps with mobility, hand-eye coordination, and reaction time — all while being gentle on the body. It’s exercise that doesn’t feel like exercise. 💪❤️

We’re always welcoming new players (and even those willing to get “bonked” by the beach ball 🤭). Every game is proof that movement, laughter, and friendship keep us young at heart.

🎶✨ We had such a fantastic time with InnerVision performing for Danbury Westerville! Their mix of keyboard, guitar, trombone, bongos, and incredible vocals filled the room with energy and joy. Residents were smiling, clapping, and even dancing with each other! 💃🕺

We’re already looking forward to welcoming them back this winter for more wonderful music and memories. ❤️

A perfect summer evening in our own backyard! 🎶☀️

We recently loaded up the bus with chairs, excited residents, hand fans and umbrellas, and plenty of smiles for the Westerville Concert in the Park series. The skies looked a little questionable at first, but Mother Nature must have known we had plans — the rain stayed away and we were gifted with the most beautiful summer weather.

The Westerville Jazz Orchestra filled the gorgeous outdoor amphitheater with swinging rhythms and smooth melodies. Residents sang, swayed, tapped their feet, and soaked in the joy of live music in the fresh evening air. 🎷💃

It was more than just a concert — it was a chance to connect, to celebrate our local talent, and to enjoy the charm of a summer night right here in our community. 🌳🎶

Good music, great company, and the kind of night you remember long after the last note fades.

Last night’s Brutus Buckeye Paint & Sip was a touchdown! 🏈🎨
Our residents each picked a unique Brutus-head canvas and brought him to life with their own creative twist — no two Brutuses looked the same!

And of course, what’s painting without sipping? 🍹 Everyone enjoyed our signature Brutus Blast cocktail — a float made with Cheerwine (a new discovery for many!), cherry-amaretto ice cream, a splash of chocolate martini mix, and topped with crushed Butterfingers for that perfect peanut-buttery Buckeye flavor.

Between the laughter, the art, and the sweet treats, it was an evening filled with scarlet, gray, and a whole lot of smiles. ❤️🤍

Art and creative expression play a vital role in supporting seniors’ mental, emotional, and even physical well-being. Engaging in creative activities like painting or crafting helps stimulate the brain, reduce stress, and boost mood. It also encourages self-expression, confidence, and a sense of accomplishment. Most importantly, it brings joy, connection, and purpose—no matter the age.

This week’s craft session brought out a wonderfully creative side of our residents as they explored the art of Button Painting! With jars of colorful buttons and a few inspiration photos to spark ideas, each person took their own unique path—resulting in some truly one-of-a-kind masterpieces.

The final pieces were delightfully abstract, full of character, and a beautiful reflection of the individuality and imagination of each artist. It’s always such a joy to see how expressive and fun crafting can be—especially when shared in great company. 💛

We had such a wonderful time celebrating the amazing mothers in our lives at our Mother’s Day Mimosas for Moms event! 💛 Thank you to everyone who joined us for a morning full of laughter, heartfelt conversations, and the joy of community.

From freshly baked muffins and pastries to our delightful mimosa bar featuring a variety of juices 🍊🍍🍓, it was a beautiful way to honor and toast the incredible women who shape our world every day.

It was truly special to see women from all walks of life come together to connect, celebrate, and uplift one another. Here’s to all the moms—past, present, and future—you are loved, appreciated, and absolutely cherished.
