We cap off this fun-filled week by shining a lot on Xia-Gibbs Syndrome, a rare genetic condition that affects development, speech, sleep and more. Awareness brings understanding, and understanding brings support. We are fortunate to walk beside a superhero with XBS and Autism, and are amazed daily by his strength and perseverance.

This week we say goodbye to our amazing summer RBT’s as they head back to college to pursue a variety of interests and fields. Whether their studies lead them back to ABA or they ultimately find another path, we hope that the lessons they’ve learned here at WePlay follow them throughout. We believe that a strong foundation in the science of behavior shapes leaders who can effectively collaborate, communicate, motivate, and lead. And that’s valuable in every profession!

This past Friday the learners of WePlay met some of our wonderful community helpers at the Westfield Police Department - Indiana. We believe it is important to forge these mutually beneficial partnerships and are so fortunate to have such willing partners in Westfield.

Happy 1st Day of Spring!

One of our amazing WePlay moms shared these sweet little chicks with our learners. We had so much fun learning about how chicks hatch from eggs, how they are covered in feathers, and the sweet “chirps” that they make! We love a fun immersive language experience at WePlay!

We capped off Fire Safety Week with a visit from the Westfield Fire Department. The kids loved seeing the fire truck and meeting some of the helpers in their community. Thank you so much to the Westfield Fire Department for showing us around the truck, bringing fire hats, and providing a fire safety lesson to our learners.
