Our speech-language pathologists evaluate and treat communication disorders involving articulation, language, fluency, voice, auditory and language processing as well as feeding and swallowing. We work with individuals who have conditions including developmental delays, strokes and other neurological conditions, and those who are on the autism spectrum. We are SpeechEasy providers to help people who stutter and for people with Parkinson’s disease.
We incorporate a variety of evidence based treatment approaches including PROMPT. Our SLPs have experience with Alternative and Augmentative Communication devices as well as individualized auditory rehabilitation. Speech and Hearing Associates also conducts several social communication groups and fluency groups.
We offer speech-language services in several languages such as Spanish, Russian and others.
Speech and Hearing Associates’ audiologists conduct hearing and hearing aid evaluations for all ages and are experts in diagnosing and providing educational recommendations for children with Central Auditory Processing Disorders.
Speech and Hearing Associates has been dispensing and servicing all major hearing aid brands since 1980. We are experts in adjusting hearing aids that have been purchased elsewhere and are not providing the benefits they should.
We also provide musician earplugs, swim molds, and sound limiting headphones for hearing protection and preservation.
All evaluations, fittings and follow-up visits are with doctors of audiology who have more than 15 years of experience.
