Happy Halloween! Residents and staff enjoyed a festive day at Sanders Glen. This year’s winning pumpkin is from the Environmental/Maintenance department represented by Oscar the Grouch! Congratulations!

Thank you to the fabulous moms & daughters of the National Charity League! These fun ladies treated the residents at Sanders Glen to “reverse trick-or-treating” this week. It was a “sweet” time for all. 😉

The season of competition has begun at Sanders Glen. Beginning with the departmental Bake-Off for rights to pumpkin picking! Congratulations to the nursing department on their 1st place cake pops! Next up will be the pumpkin decorating contest to be judged by our residents.

Prospecting for “gold” nuggets kept our residents actively searching all week as part of the Ageless Adventures theme of National Assisted Living Week 2025. Happy Grandparents Day! Our annual ice cream social is the perfect way to celebrate the occasion which also kicks off National Assisted Living Week. Sanders Glen residents and families always enjoy this time together.

Sanders Glen residents enjoyed another visit from Wrangler the miniature horse today! Twelve year old Wrangler made the rounds giving and receiving love among residents and staff alike!
