✨ “Draw your belly button to your spine.” You’ve probably heard this cue in Pilates, but what does it really mean?

It’s not about sucking in or holding your breath. Instead, it’s about gently activating your deep core muscles—especially the transverse abdominis, your body’s natural corset. 💪

When you draw your belly button toward your spine:
1️⃣ You create stability and support for your spine and pelvis.
2️⃣ You protect your lower back during movement.
3️⃣ You build a strong foundation for better posture and balance.
