In times like these, we’re reminded just how strong and connected our Westfield community truly is. Today’s upsetting incident has weighed heavily on many of us, and we want to take a moment to reach out with care, support, and compassion.

Our hearts are with our fellow downtown neighbors after the upsetting incident that took place today. What happened has shaken many of us, and we want the individuals involved and everyone connected to them personally to know that our whole community is holding you in our thoughts and standing behind you!!!! Westfield is a place where people show up for one another. When something difficult happens, we don’t turn away we come together with compassion and support. The outpouring of care we’ve seen already is a reminder of how connected we all are as residents, business owners, and friends.

Even though police confirmed this was an isolated situation, we understand that things like this can leave people feeling unsettled.
