Last Wednesday we celebrated another beautiful group of soon to be licensed massage therapists. These 10 amazing individuals have really shown their light in this program. We have been honored to have had them and wish them the very best. Once again we thank all the staff of TMTC Westfield NJ for everything they do to ensure that great therapists are forged during these 10 months. Our graduates of the Spring 2025 group: Lynn Armstead, Tyler Callahan, Victor Cruz, Lexi Dixon, Mike Lawrence, Justin Maneggio, Heather Marcus, Ella Mualem, Chelena Nonon, and Allison Venegas. From Millie - My heart broke yesterday when I found out that one of our own passed away recently. Tony Contreras was my hands-on somatic instructor back in 2010 and mentored me for the first year after I graduated. He was always generous with his wisdom and wealth of experience. He often told me that I reminded him of his daughter and treated me with that same care, as if we were related, almost as a proud dad. He imparted, impacted and was an inspiration. I owe the foundation of my success as an LMT in part to him. Thank you for being so amazing. We will miss you. Our heart goes out to his beautiful family. You are in our prayers Pat Van Slyke and Denise White.

From Arlene- It is with such sadness that we say goodbye to Tony Contreras, who passed on 8/2/2025. Tony graduated from Therapeutic Massage & Training Center in December 2005. He stayed with the school and taught Anatomy & Physiology and specialty classes, such as Stretching and Postural Analysis, to students. He even taught those of us who went on to own and run the school. Tony brought laughter and knowledge to touch so many instructors and students. He brought calm and strength to every class. Tony, we missed you from the day you retired from teaching at the school. It was always so much fun to enjoy you and your wife, Pat, at the graduation parties. You will be so missed and remembered by so many, Tony. Till we meet again, Rest in Peace.

June 12th we celebrated with our Fall Day and Evening classes as they graduated our ten month program. 28 beautiful souls starting their next leg of their journey to becoming licensed massage therapists. Since then 7 have applied and successfully passed the national exam and one already received his license approval. The fastest we've ever seen. Congratulations and thank you for choosing our school!

It's that time of year again! Our spring semester is starting soon and we're slowly filling up! Make the investment into your future as a massage therapist by registering at TMTC.
Our spring session meets Monday and Wednesday evenings with one weekend a month. Finish in 10 months and start seeing clients by the next calendar year!
