Snow day alert ❄️

Ortho MA is closed today due to the storm.

Back tomorrow with regular hours and ready to help.

Until then, enjoy the snow… just remember, your driveway is not a winter obstacle course.

Stay safe, New England.

Before the game.
Before the gym.
Even before shoveling that driveway.
Stretching is not optional. It is injury prevention.

Here are 4 quick stretches that make a difference:
Hamstrings – Helps protect your knees and lower back
Calves – Reduces risk of Achilles and ankle strain
Shoulders – Essential for throwing, lifting, and even snow blowing
Quads – Supports knee stability and power

Hold each stretch for 20 to 30 seconds. No bouncing. Breathe through it.
Cold muscles tear. Warm muscles perform.

And if something still doesn’t feel right after practice, the gym, or a weekend project, Ortho MA is here.

Super Bowl Sunday vibes: legendary. 🏈
Post-game soreness: not so much.

Patriots may have fallen short, but New England showed up like we always do.

If cheering a little too hard, shoveling before kickoff, or celebrating anyway left you feeling it today, don’t push through the pain.

Will there be six more weeks of winter or an early spring? We’ll find out soon. But if your knee, shoulder, or back pain keeps coming back every winter, that part is already pretty clear.

Recurring pain isn’t just about the weather. It’s often a sign something deeper is going on. If your joints feel stuck on repeat, it may be time to break the cycle.

We’re here when you need us.

In New England, the storm may be over, but the ice always sticks around a little longer. Sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, and that one sneaky patch you didn’t see coming.

Slips and falls are one of the most common winter injuries, often affecting ankles, knees, wrists, and shoulders. Sometimes the pain shows up immediately. Other times, it creeps in later and gets worse instead of better.
If you took a fall and something doesn’t feel right, swelling, limited movement, or lingering pain are signs it’s time to get it checked.

No appointment needed. Just walk in and get answers.

01/26/2026

If you’ve lived through a New England winter, you’ve probably shoveled snow more times than you can count. And while it may feel like just another seasonal chore, shoveling is one of the most common causes of winter injuries.

Heavy snow, awkward lifting, and repetitive motion can lead to back strains, shoulder pain, and muscle injuries that don’t always show up right away.

If your soreness is lingering, getting worse, or limiting how you move, it may be more than just a tough snow day. Getting it checked early can help you recover properly and avoid a longer setback.

We’re here to help you move comfortably and safely all winter long.
