Now introducing late days!

Starting this week, every Tuesday and Wednesday will have “late day” shot appointments. We will be open until 6 these days, so our last shot appointments are at 5:30!

Whether you’re looking to get your injection after work, after school, or after a busy day of life, we are here for you! Ask about our late day appointments when scheduling your next allergy injection!

Happy birthday to our nurse injector, Shannon!

Shannon is known by staff and patients for her extensive knowledge in allergen immunotherapy (AIT… aka allergy shots), biologic administration, etc. She is loved for her humor and her shining personality in the office!

Today marks the start of National Nurses Week, and we wanted to give a shout out to our amazing nurses at Pioneer Valley Allergy!

National Nurses Week honors the contributions and impacts made by nurses of all kinds, including RNs, LPNs, NPs, CRNAs, CNMs, nurse educators, and more! This week runs from May 6-12 every year, ending on Florence Nightingale’s birthday.

This week we celebrate all nurses in healthcare. Thank you for all that you do! We wouldn’t operate without all of your wisdom, hard work, and dedication to serving the pioneer valley its allergy and immunology needs! ❤️

Join us for light refreshments as we celebrate this exciting milestone! This is a chance to meet our staff, congratulate Dr. Van Stee, and check out our new office.

State Representatives, Westfield Mayor Mike McCabe, 22News, and members of the Chamber of Commerce will be joining us as well.

The second unit in our building is available for rent as well, so don’t be afraid to check that out too! We can’t wait to see you all there!

Spring is here and flowers are blooming, which means, bees are out!

Some general ways to avoid bee stings include:
🧴limiting use of strongly scented products, especially floral products! Bees love sweet smells. Instead, opt for scent-free options (good if you have eczema/dermatitis as well)
👚avoid floral shirts or shirts with bright colors, these are known to attract bees! Instead, pull your neutrals out of the closet if you want to avoid a bee sting
🦶🏻NO BARE FEET. Yes the grass feels amazing on your toes, but it does NOT feel amazing to step on a stinging insect. Bees love to hide in the grass. Always wear close toed shoes
