Their work often happens behind the scenes, but its impact is felt in every success story, every comforted family, and every life improved.

February Birthday Celebration at Westfield Rehab and Health Center

We had a fantastic time honoring our February birthdays at Westfield Rehab and Health Center! Our amazing Dietary Director created a stunning, delicious cake just for the celebration, making the day even more special. Residents were also treated to wonderful live entertainment by Jimmy and the Rhythm Makers.

The room was filled with singing, laughter, clapping, and plenty of sweet treats! 💙

Happy Birthday to all of our February residents — we are truly grateful to celebrate each and every one of you!

❤️ Hearts Served with Every Smile ❤️

Love was truly on the menu at Westfield Rehab & Health Center this Valentine’s Day! Our amazing kitchen team added extra love to every tray with a festive Valentine setup that made mealtime feel even more special. 💕

The celebration kept rocking with classic Doo W*p favorites filling the room with music, smiles, and sweet memories. Residents enjoyed hot chocolate, delicious treats, and plenty of heartfelt moments shared with friends and staff.

Thank you to our wonderful team for making the day so meaningful for everyone we serve. It was a Valentine’s Day full of warmth, joy, and of course… hearts served with every smile! ❤️

🎉 A huge congratulations to Mike on his incredible success in rehab! 🎉

Mike came to Westfield Rehab and Health Center following a very complex hospital stay that included two cardiac arrests, cardiogenic shock, intubation, and time on mechanical ventilation. Despite these challenges, Mike made rapid progress with Physical and Occupational Therapy and is now independent with mobility and self-care tasks.

One of Mike’s biggest hurdles was nutrition and swallowing, as all food, liquids, and medications initially had to be administered through a gastrostomy tube. Through the dedication of our Speech Therapist—and Mike’s own determination, persistence, and hard work—he regained a safe and functional swallow using guided exercises and compensatory strategies.

Today, Mike is able to eat three meals a day, drink fluids, and take his medications orally. 👏

Mike is looking forward to discharging next week and returning home, back to work, and to his family. We are so proud of your strength and fortitude, Mike, and we wish you continued health and success! 💙
