Hello! I’m Cynthia, an energy worker and educator. I’m passionate about helping people heal because it took years to find my own path to wellness. After struggling with chronic pain and fatigue for too long, I found ways to fuel my body’s natural ability to heal itself. I discovered the power of energy healing through my own Reiki work and working with other healers, and was eventually called to s

tart up my own practice.

Now I teach the self-healing techniques I’ve learned and benefited from through my Wholistic Wellness class series and offer individualized energy healing sessions that include Reiki, energy medicine, reflexology, and crystal therapy. I hope you’ll join me on the path to Wellness!

Our monthly Shamanic Journey and Drumming group meets on the third Saturday of every month. This is a drop-in event, and no experience with shamanism, journeying, or drumming is required – just a curious and open heart!

Shamanic journeying is a powerful practice that anyone can learn and use. Working in the spirit realm teaches us true freedom and self-empowerment. There, we have access to other worlds. We connect with the energy that underlies the physical world and receive guidance from our spirit guides and ancestors. Moreover, we gain the ability to heal ourselves at the deepest level.

Shamanic drumming is both a healing art and a catalyst for shamanic journeying. At our gatherings, we will explore both ways of working with rhythm. Participants are encouraged to bring (or make!) a rhythm instrument for healing work, but extras are available for those who don’t have one.

Location: The Unitarian Church of Marlboro and Hudson (UCMH), 80 Main St., Hudson, MA, upstairs in the Knight Room. Enter through the side (Church St.) door and come up the stairs.

Cost: $5 for UCMH Members and shamanic students; $10 for non-Members/students

Holy crow, it's been a minute since I did one of these! It is WAY past time! After a synchronous meeting with a colleague, and some guidance we received in our meeting, I'm changing up our gathering a little this month.

We were informed that this is - yet again! - a powerful full moon. So I’m offering a short healing ceremony to tap into the energy of this moon cycle before we begin to tarot. This ceremony is to help us work strongly with gratitude to clear out old energy and make space for abundance. We are all shifting right now, and clearing inner space offers us room for art, finding our voice, and expanding our health and intuition.

For our tarot time, we will play around with the court cards and figure out why they give us so much trouble using a game and some reflective exercises. And we’ll practice reading for and with each other with a few new spreads.

Time: 7 - 9 PM

Location: The Unitarian Church of Marlboro and Hudson, 80 Main St., Hudson, MA.

I know many of you are feeling difficult feelings today. So am I. I did this reading last night (before knowing the news), and when I came back to it this morning, it felt like a balm. So I offer this for all of us who are feeling challenged right now.

The layout from left to right: A Message, You, Action, Guidance; and the card above oversees the reading. The spread starts from the 2nd card to the left (You), goes to the 1st (Message), then Action and Guidance, and then our top card. Let's dig in.

Yeah, Loss. This is such an accurate card for today. It freakin' hurts. But what's important to remember is that even though the loss looms large, there are blessings in the background that will come forward. Although focusing on the loss is tempting, it's more important to look to our blessings to sustain us.

The Hanged One has a beautiful message to offer us. Rachel Pollack says of the Hanged Man that it "serves as a very direct symbol of the reversal of attitude that comes through spiritual awakening. Where everyone else is frenzied, you will know peace." Let us know peace today. Let's remember the bigger truths of beauty and light, and not let the petty actions of others move us from this knowledge. Bask in the light, and stay open to the greater truth - that the world is much, much more than this physical reality. We can transcend the mundane world when we hold this truth in our hearts.

Our action is to focus on the enchantment of the natural and unseen worlds. Hunker down if you need to, but don't lose sight of the beauty around you. Surround yourself with it; immerse yourself in it. When we zoom out from the small day-to-day view, we can't help but see the light and beauty that surrounds us.

For those who are ready, the action is more direct. We must create that enchanting world. Not just for ourselves, but for everyone we come in contact with. Nurture and spread enchantment.

Our guidance is to begin again, to start from zero. What's past can't be changed, but we can move through the world like a new soul and find amazement and wonder in everything. See the light in others, regardless of their words or actions. Long post; see comments for the finish!

A halloween reading! Using my new (to me) copy of the and the . 🖤
All your work leading up to today has paid off, even if it's still hard to see. Make the most of it and enjoy the holiday! There's a caution against excess and inebriation. Plenty of goodies will be available today - use a clear head and open heart to guide you.

For no good reason at all, I was totally drawn to this acorn cap. So much so that I took a pic so I could continue to gaze at its perfectly imperfect shape.

I did not do this on purpose, honestly. But it did happen. Inspired by a tarot deck I'm assembling, I wanted to do a reading with 4 or 5 decks. And I really wanted to lay them out in a circle for no reason I could put my finger on. And the shape that you see is what I created. Just as I went to take a picture of it, I realized something needed to be in the middle, and without thinking much about it I put a dark sphere of labradorite - the stone that boosts my journeys - in the middle.

Then I turned over the cards, and couldn't look at anything other than the last card I turned over - the Andean Cross, to the left of the top center. And I looked at it, and looked at it, and it hit me. I had made an Andean Cross out of the spread I put together. I even included the "hole" in the center. What?! Seriously?! Ok, massive message from my higher self and/or the universe. I'm paying attention!

Here's the write-up of the Andean Cross card in the Mystical Shaman Oracle guidebook: " The Andean Cross represents the cosmology of the shaman. It depicts the four cardinal directions, the upper and lower worlds, and the steps to reach those realms. The hole in the center is a gateway to interdimensional travel, the proverbial eye of the needle we can all go through to experience higher states of awareness and wisdom and to break free of linear time.

The Invitation: The Andean Cross announces the start to a great journey. It's your time to raise your gaze from the mundane day-to-day to that which, until now, has seemed beyond your grasp. Allow new wisdom to guide you and stop trying to make sense of it all before you respond with a resounding yes."
