💜 This week is Birth Trauma Awareness Week 💜

Birth trauma can happen in many different ways. It’s not about the medical details. It’s about how it felt to you.

Some causes of birth trauma include:

- Emergency interventions
- Lack of informed consent or feeling unheard
- Threats to your or your baby’s safety, autonomy, or dignity
- Being alone or unsupported during labor
- A very long, very short, or complicated labor
- Witnessing a traumatic birth
- Physical injury
- Any unexpected or distressing event before, during, or after delivery

If your birth felt traumatic, then it was. Your experience is valid. Your feelings are real. And you don’t have to navigate this alone.

If you’re living with lasting pain, discomfort, or disconnection from your body, we’re here to help you heal safely, gently, and at your pace.

We are also able to provide a list of trusted mental health professionals and can connect you to additional support.

💛 You are not alone. And you are not to blame.

🎗️ July is Fibroid Awareness Month
Uterine fibroids affect up to 80% of women by age 50, yet so many go undiagnosed, unheard, or misinformed.

If you’ve been told that:
❌ Heavy bleeding is just part of being a woman
❌ Pain during your cycle is “normal”
❌ Your symptoms aren’t serious...

You deserve better.
Fibroids can impact fertility, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and your pelvic floor.

✨ Pelvic health is whole-body health.
✨ You deserve answers, options, and compassionate care.

Let’s keep breaking the silence because your symptoms are valid, and your experience matters. 💛

✨ Tip of the Week: Scar Desensitization ✨

Did you know that gentle touch can help reduce sensitivity around your scar? Whether it’s a C-section or another surgical scar, consistent desensitization can make a big difference in your comfort and mobility.

Try this simple technique:
🩹 Use a soft, wet washcloth to gently rub up and down, side to side, and in circles over your scar for 3–5 minutes each day.
💛 Be gentle—this should never cause pain or burning.

Your scar is part of your story and it deserves care, too. 💛
