Welcome Alyssa Paton, NP to Pediatrics West! Book your appointment with her in our Westford location!

Alyssa is board-certified through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board in Pediatrics. She earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Regis College in 2013, followed by a Master’s of Science in Nursing in 2015. Since becoming a certified nurse practitioner in 2015, Alyssa has worked in a variety of clinical settings but has always had a strong passion for primary care. In addition to clinical practice, Alyssa serves as adjunct clinical and lecture faculty for the Nursing Department at Middlesex Community College. Outside of work, Alyssa enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and two dogs.

With great sadness and joy, we are announcing Dr. Athanasiou's retirement at the end of this year. In his 40+ years at Pediatrics West, Dr. A has helped shape it into the wonderful practice it is today. He has been more than just a pediatrician; he has been a compassionate guide, a trusted healer, and a friend to many families and staff.

Through the years, Dr. A has been a steady presence in our practice, a mentor to colleagues, and a pillar of support to staff and patients alike. His legacy is built on his unwavering commitment to pediatric care, but also on his deep compassion for the families he served. Dr. A’s impact cannot be measured in charts and diagnoses alone; it’s seen in the countless visits, the words of thanks, and the smiles of children whose lives were touched by his care.

Though we will deeply miss Dr. A's warm presence, we are incredibly grateful for the years he devoted to Pediatrics West and the countless lives he has helped shape.

Dr. A, thank you for your years of service, your unparalleled dedication, and your endless compassion. You leave behind a legacy that will be cherished forever! Thank you!
