The Governor's FY2026 Budget includes a proposed tax on prescriptions in Massachusetts, which could impose a fee of up to $2 per prescription or 6% of pharmacy revenues. MSHP is actively opposing this tax through collaborative advocacy efforts and has participated in discussions with other pharmacy associations. We encourage all stakeholders to contact their state representatives to express opposition to this proposal. For more information, visit the links provided.
