We’re excited to share that our recent Lunch and Learn on the Benefits of Art and Music Therapy for dementia, presented by Katie Smith, Life Enrichment Director, was a wonderful success! 🎨🎶
Attendees enjoyed an engaging and informative afternoon focused on how creative therapies like art and music can positively impact individuals living with dementia, enhancing mood, memory, and connection.
🎼 Jeanne Masterman the Director of Golden Notes Choir, was in attendance as well as the always delightful Mark Tavenner “The Tie Guy”, a beloved Bridges favorite. Both found the session to be insightful.
And let’s talk about the food! 👨🍳 A big shoutout to our new cook, Victor, who wowed everyone with a delicious chicken parmesan spread that had guests going back for seconds. 🍽️
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this event such a meaningful experience. Your presence and participation remind us of the power of community, creativity, and care.
