Alcohol and Substance Abuse Treatment Services A client in need of addiction treatment can enter our comprehensive system at any level of appropriate services.

Seafield believes that alcoholism and substance abuse are primary, chronic diseases with genetic, psychosocial and environmental factors. Treatment programs need to provide services that restore dignity to clients, support a return to healthier, more productive lifestyles, and provide programs to prevent relapse and assist families as well as the client. Seafield treatment programs include inpatient rehabilitation, detox, day treatment, intensive outpatient treatment, group and individual sessions, a structured family program and recovery housing for adult men and women. Seafield is licensed by the New York State Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Services and is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. Today Seafield consists of three corporations:

Seafield Center, Inc. operates a ninety (100) bed inpatient treatment facility located in Westhampton Beach, New York. Seafield Services, Inc. operates 6 licensed outpatient treatment programs located in Amityville, Mineola, Medford, Patchogue, Riverhead and Manhasset. Carol’s commitment to Seafield is truly exceptional, as she has been a dedicated team member since 1990. She finds the greatest reward in her job by connecting with patients, offering support, and talking with them as they move through their recovery journey. Through her many years of service, Carol has established a guiding principle for her work: the belief that everyone deserves respect. When she’s not on the clock, Carol enjoys spending her time off at the beach, camping, and attending outdoor concerts in the summer.
