Seafield Center Alcohol and Substance Abuse Treatment Alcohol and Substance Abuse Treatment Services A client in need of addiction treatment can enter our comprehensive system at any level of appropriate services.

Seafield believes that alcoholism and substance abuse are primary, chronic diseases with genetic, psychosocial and environmental factors. Treatment programs need to provide services that restore dignity to clients, support a return to healthier, more productive lifestyles, and provide programs to prevent relapse and assist families as well as the client. Seafield treatment programs include inpatient rehabilitation, detox, day treatment, intensive outpatient treatment, group and individual sessions, a structured family program and recovery housing for adult men and women. Seafield is licensed by the New York State Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Services and is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. Today Seafield consists of three corporations:

Seafield Center, Inc. operates a ninety (100) bed inpatient treatment facility located in Westhampton Beach, New York. Seafield Services, Inc. operates 6 licensed outpatient treatment programs located in Amityville, Mineola, Medford, Patchogue, Riverhead and Manhasset. We're excited to announce Cassidy Johnston as an Associate of the Month! Cassidy joined the Seafield Mineola team in July 2024 and has been instrumental there. She greatly enjoys working with and learning from her supervisor, Aruna Epstein. A big congratulations is also in order for Cassidy on successfully completing her master's degree in forensic psychology in May! When she's not at Seafield, she enjoys baking, cooking, doing puzzles, watching Survivor, and spending time with her dog, Abbi. She even spends some of her free time working at a haunted house. Well done, Cassidy, and thank you for all your hard work!
