East End Hospice volunteers bring compassion and humanity to every person we serve.

Each year, our volunteers give over 10,000 hours and make nearly 2,000 patient visits—offering companionship, support, and simple acts of kindness. Their impact reaches far beyond the bedside, from the Zinberg Family Bereavement Center and Camp Good Grief to our offices, thrift shop, and fundraising events.

Every volunteer shares their unique talents to help make this year’s Hospice Month theme, “We See the Whole You,” a lived reality at East End Hospice. 💛

💙 Today is Child Grief Awareness Day 💙

On this day, we pause to honor the children and families who carry the weight of loss in their hearts.

East End Hospice is committed to walking beside them on that journey. Camp Good Grief and the Zinberg Family Bereavement Center provide safe, nurturing spaces where children, teens, and their families can express their feelings, connect with others who understand, and begin to find hope and healing after loss.

If you know a child or family who may need support, we are here.

"I don't know where to start about our experience with the Kanas Center for Hospice Care. Words could never explain the love and the care he got — and we got — from each and every person there. A gigantic thank you to you all, as our hearts grieve and the missing of my brother never goes away, but the healing process begins. We are so thankful to each and every one of you."
