Camp Good Grief Photo Dump Part II

🌟 175 young hearts. One healing village. 🌟

Last week, kids ages 4–17 came together at East End Hospice’s Camp Good Grief to share, heal, and connect over the loss of loved ones. Through therapy, play, and friendship, they found strength in knowing they’re not alone.

Thanks to 125+ volunteers, generous donors, and community support, camp was free for every family. 💛 It truly takes a village—and you’re part of it.

A Bereavement Retreat for Camp Good Grief Caregivers

Jean L. Behrens, Adult Bereavement Coordinator at East End Hospice, recently led a special bereavement retreat for caregivers connected to Camp Good Grief, held at Spirit's Promise Equine Rescue Program in Riverhead.

This unique retreat emphasized the importance of self‑care for those supporting grieving children and teens.

Participants engaged in therapeutic equine-assisted activities, fostering healing through profound connections with these gentle animals.
