The winter season can be especially difficult for seniors, often bringing feelings of loss: of loved ones, independence, or health.

The most important thing we can do is acknowledge their pain and lead with empathy. Invite residents to share memories of past holidays and loved ones, and create space for those stories to be honored.

At Pacific Coast Psychology, we ensure that residents have the care they need to navigate grief, protect their well-being, and feel supported year-round.

As we kick off the new year, we’re proud to reflect on what has been a truly landmark year for our team. In the past year, we celebrated 10 years of service, exhibited at the CAHF Conference, and welcomed even more partner facilities! We are deeply grateful for the trust, collaboration, and support of our partners, facilities, and team. Thank you for being such an important part of this landmark year.
