When therapy finally clicks… you feel it. 🥰

There’s a moment in the work where something shifts. The thoughts are quieter. The anxiety is not running the show. You respond instead of react. You start trusting yourself again.
It’s not magic. It’s consistency. It’s showing up. It’s doing the uncomfortable things and realizing you’re stronger than you thought.

And yes… sometimes it really does feel that good.
At Strive, we’re here for the heavy days and the breakthrough ones. The tears and the wins. The steady progress that turns into real change.

If you’re ready for your own shift, book your appointment through our website and let’s get started.

Meet Zoe Scherer, Mental Health Therapist at Strive CLE. 🩵

Zoe specializes in chemical dependency, addiction, and substance use treatment. She also supports clients navigating anxiety, social anxiety, stress, life transitions, career challenges, and the impact of loving someone struggling with addiction. She proudly works with diverse populations, including the LGBTQIA+ community, and sees clients 10 and older.

With both a Psychology degree and a Social Work degree, Zoe brings a unique, flexible lens to therapy. Her background includes residential treatment, outpatient counseling, substance use assessments, detox coordination, and intake services. She integrates CBT, Motivational Interviewing, strengths based therapy, SFBT, and narrative therapy, always through a trauma informed and person centered approach.

But above all else, Zoe prioritizes the therapeutic alliance. She believes progress happens when clients feel safe, heard, valued, and supported.

Her passion for addiction work is both professional and personal. Inspired by her grandfather, a longtime psychologist, and shaped by her own family’s experience with addiction, Zoe brings deep empathy to this work. She actively promotes Naloxone education and participates in recovery focused community initiatives.

Zoe especially loves working with younger adults and Gen Z clients who value authenticity and growth. If you are navigating social anxiety, career stress, school challenges, or complex family dynamics, she would love to walk alongside you.

Outside of work, Zoe loves reading, hiking, swimming in the lake, live music, crafting, podcasts, and spending time with her mom and niece. She is also a proud cat mom to three orange cats, Finn, Boots, and Willie.

If you are looking for a therapist who blends clinical skill with real life understanding and genuine empathy, Zoe may be a great fit.

Schedule with Zoe today through Strive CLE.

✨ Linda is here with an answer to that overwhelm! ✨
You don’t always need to change your surroundings to find calm. Sometimes, it’s about how you move through them.
This week, we’re sharing a simple practice called a five senses walk. Instead of letting your mind wander, pick one sense. Sight, sound, smell, or touch and focus fully on it as you walk. Notice the rustle of leaves, the scent of the air, the feel of your feet on the ground. Toward the end of your walk, gently bring your other senses back in, observing the world around you with fresh awareness.

Even a short 10–15 minute walk can help reset your mind, lower stress, and ground you in the present moment. No labyrinth needed, just your curiosity and your senses.

Will you focus on sound, sight, or another sense today? Tell us in the comments which one you’re trying first!

You do not have to be “good” at therapy to deserve it.
You just have to be ready to feel better. 🩵

Meet Linda Wilt, LPC, ATR-P, one of our new mental health therapists at Strive CLE Counseling. Linda brings a thoughtful, trauma informed approach that can include both talk therapy and art therapy. For many people, putting feelings into words is hard. Sometimes creativity helps your brain exhale long enough to process what you have been carrying.

Linda often supports clients working through anxiety, depression, grief, and cognitive challenges, with a focus on coping skills, wellness, and steady progress that actually lasts.

If you have ever thought, I do not even know where to start, Linda is the kind of clinician who will meet you right there.

If you are ready for support that meets you with warmth and curiosity, you can schedule an appointment with Linda through our website.

A lot of people are walking around right now feeling tense, exhausted, and constantly “on.” Not because they’re dramatic or incapable, but because the world has been loud, heavy, and relentless. When everything feels urgent, uncertain, or out of your control, your nervous system stays in survival mode longer than it was ever meant to.

High functioning anxiety can look like productivity, success, and keeping it together on the outside while your body is running on fumes underneath. That doesn’t mean anything is wrong with you. It means your system has been working overtime to keep you safe.

At Strive, we help people slow things down, reset their nervous systems, and find steadiness again even when life doesn’t magically calm down. Support isn’t a weakness. It’s a response to the reality we’re living in.

If this message resonates, you’re not alone. Drop a comment, send us a message, or explore starting therapy with our team. You don’t have to carry all of this by yourself.
