Key Ministry Key Ministry promotes meaningful connection between churches and families of kids with disabilities

We embrace our role as leaders among like-minded individuals, organizations and congregations in the movement to welcome and include persons with disabilities and their families in the life of the local church. Key Ministry serves a unique role in connecting churches with families of children with “hidden disabilities”… mental illness, trauma and developmental disabilities. Operating Principles...

We provide as many products and services as possible free of charge. Ministry is done best by a team…no person or organization gets all the gifts! We “expand the circle” of the disability ministry movement by including persons inside and outside the church. We seek opportunities to collaborate with like-minded ministries. We create platforms to advance the cause of disability ministry and share them with other leaders. We actively seek to maximize the impact of our ministry through application of technology.

Merry Christmas from Key Ministry!

As we reflect on the birth of Jesus today, we’re reminded that the Gospel is truly good news for all people. From the very beginning, God’s plan of redemption was to make the Gospel available to everyone.

This Christmas, we celebrate the hope, joy, and love found in Christ, and we remember that we are called to ensuring that individuals and families impacted by disability are fully welcomed into the life of the Church.

Wishing you a joyful and meaningful Christmas as we celebrate Emmanuel — God with us.

🕯️This week on the Key Ministry podcast we reflect on one of the most meaningful names of Jesus in the Christmas story—the consolation of Israel.

Drawing from Luke 2 and Isaiah’s promises of comfort, Dr. Chris Hulshof explores how Jesus is not a consolation prize for a broken world but God’s personal comfort given to His people.

Hear how this name of Christ brings real hope, belonging, rest, and beloved-identity for individuals and families impacted by disability.
