Happy, happy birthday to our newest desk yogi, Lisa! We are so excited to celebrate you! You may see Lisa around the studio helping out behind the desk or taking classes. She also just graduated from our third cycle of Resilience 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training. Lisa is a calm, relaxing presence and a smiling face that will greet you each time you are in the studio! Navasana – Boat Pose 🚣‍♀️

A steady core-strengthener that invites focus, balance, and inner resilience—like finding calm in the middle of the waves 🌊

Benefits:
✨Strengthens the core, hip flexors, and spine
✨Improves balance and stability
✨Encourages better posture
✨Builds focus and mental steadiness
✨Energizes the body and boosts confidence

How to practice:
• Begin seated with your knees bent and feet on the mat, spine tall.
• Place your hands behind your thighs and gently lean back, keeping your heart space lifted.
• Lift one foot, then the other, bringing your shins parallel to the mat.
• Option to extend your arms forward alongside your legs, palms facing in.
• If it feels accessible, begin to straighten your legs while maintaining length through your spine.
• Keep your heart lifted and gaze soft, breathing steadily.

Options:
* Keep your toes on the mat for extra support
* Hold behind your thighs to help maintain a long spine
* Bend the knees instead of straightening the legs
* Lower halfway down and hover for a different kind of challenge
* Add gentle twists or arm variations to explore stability

Let your boat be steady, not strained. Find the balance between effort and ease, and trust your ability to stay afloat 💚

A big CONGRATULATIONS to the newest grads of our Resilience 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training who graduated this past Friday, April 26th! 🥳🎉👏🏼🎊

We are SO PROUD of this wonderful group of 8 and all of their hard work, dedication to their practice and learning how to sequence and teach yoga classes, and most importantly their HEARTS! 💚

Catch each of them for DONATION-BASED yoga classes benefitting the Cleveland R**e Crisis Center during the month of May! Classes will be held on Fridays at 6pm and Sundays at 4:30pm (with the exception of Mother’s Day and the Sunday before Memorial Day). Classes will be for all levels of practitioners with modifications and embellishments provided to support your experience and make it accessible for all!

Satya is a part of yoga philosophy that relates to truthfulness. But Satya isn’t about harsh honesty or self-criticism. It’s about seeing yourself clearly, and meeting that truth with compassion.

What would it feel like to be honest with yourself…without being unkind?

To acknowledge where you are without immediately trying to fix or judge it?

On your mat, Satya might look like honoring your limits instead of pushing past them.
Off your mat, it might sound like a gentler inner voice—one that tells the truth, but with care.

Because truth, when paired with compassion, becomes something that supports growth rather than shame.

There are many seasons in life where we don’t feel ready.
Not ready for loss.
Not ready for change.

And honestly…not even ready to walk into a yoga class.

But yoga gently teaches us that readiness isn’t something we wait for. It’s something we grow into.

Hope Yoga was created for the moments in life when you feel uncertain.
When you feel tender.
When you feel like you’re standing at the edge of something new.
