We are so excited to announce our Pet Of The Month winner for May is Mr. Baker D.!

Some facts his family shared with us:

-Baker has two Frenchie siblings
-He loves to sleep on somebody's lap on the couch. a 22lb lap dog!
-He loves to wrestle with his brother Cole and go for car rides
-Whenever he sees people, he does a downward dog yoga pose and then stretches up. He is a very goofy dog!

We are excited to announce that our April Pet of the Month winner is Gordy P.!

Some facts about Gordy that his parents shared with us :

Nicknames: He normally goes by his full name Gordon, but is also referred to as Swanky G, G Wagon or sometimes just G.
Favorite Toys: His favorite toy is a stuffed Santa Clause with crinkley arms and legs. He's really happy when we get it out with the holiday decorations at Christmas.
Favorite Snacks: Snausages and an occasional pigs ear.
Favorite Napping Spot: He always naps on his dog bed in my home office while I'm working. Outside he naps in many of the huge holes he's dug behind the bushes, so watch out deliver drivers!
Favorite place to go on walks or in the car: We don't go on many walks because he won't leave the invisible fence unless he's in a car. But he's most excited to take a ride over to his best friend Henry's house!
Fun Facts or Special Tricks:
Gordon has an invisible fence and spends a lot of time outside. He has many many visitors both dog and human. He knows people I've never even seen before. Someone said he's the mayor of Westlake.
He barks at every truck that goes by. I'm not sure why but it may have started with a delivery truck. He hates them.
He doesn't play very well and doesn't even know what to do with a ball... leaving me to think he may have been raised with cats. He even stretches with his back arched up like a cat.
When Gordon was rescued he was skin and bones and a tangled mess. He didn't trust anyone and may have never been inside before. 10 years later the rescue he came from was shut down and the lady had 30 dogs that were not as lucky as Gordon and unfortunately never made it out. (that crazy lady from Canine Lifeline)

Some facts about Kabuki that her parents shared with us :

Nickname(s): Buki, Bukbu, Buki Bear, Ma'am
Animal Siblings: Lucy
Favorite Toy: Her Stick Cage Cat Bell Ball
Favorite Snack: Cat treats of any kind, any time of day
Favorite Napping Spot: In the window on a mountain of pillows like the princess and the pea
Favorite place to go on walks or in the car: Nowhere - she is a true homebody through and through
Fun Facts : Kabuki is 17 and still very much the queen of the house. She has the sweetest little nose shaped like a black heart and a personality that fills every room.
She loves belly rubs, watching the birds outside the window, and having long, very opinionated conversations with anyone willing to listen. Every morning she wakes us up just before the alarm goes off, and if anyone so much as moves, she runs straight to the kitchen mat in hopeful anticipation of treats.

Life with Kabuki means constant chatter, soft belly fur, and a little black-hearted nose that somehow makes everything feel lighter.

- favorite toy: Sealy (big plush seal he nibbles before bedtime)
- favorite snack: Cheese, Payday bars (non-chocolate ones), Rice crispy treats
- favorite napping spot: living room couch
- favorite place to go for a walk / in the car: A hunt club in Amherst. He loves being off-leash and sometimes tries to chase a deer.
- fun facts / special tricks: Titan is a stubborn but loving, gentle giant. He is a thief of shoes, food, and hearts.

Nickname - She has about a dozen, but the most used is Pokey!
Siblings - We are down to one feline "sibling" named Foodar.

Fave napping spot - on Mommy or Daddy's lap
Fave walk - Anywhere that is as far away as possible. She's happiest if we don't see another living being.

Some facts about Anderson that his parents shared with us :
Nickname(s): Sonny, Son, The OG, Pumpkin Pie
Animal Siblings: Quinn
Favorite Toys: Sebastian the elephant, the squeaky cupcake, and the stuffed snowman.
Favorite Snacks: carrots, peanut butter, scrambled eggs, and bananas
Favorite Napping Spot: in a patch of sun
Favorite place to go on walks or in the car: To get a pup cup (ice cream with a dog cookie) or go on a kayak ride
Fun Facts or Special Tricks: Anderson was one of 11 pups born to two mothers on the same day! All the pups were named after talk show hosts (Anderson Cooper), and both mom's took care of all 11 pups.
He loves other dogs, but is very possessive of his toys around other dogs. He will hide if you say the word 'bath', but come running if you open the peanut butter jar, and always greets us at the door with a toy!
