Santa made a stop at our main building too! Making his rounds passing out presents and spreading cheer to all! Every year at the Village of Westland the elves start to compete for Santas attention, this year was no different! We hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas 🎄
We also want to wish Betty H who turned 100 on Christmas a very Happy 100th Birthday!!

With the help of so many donating bags and our amazing little Plarning group, we were able to complete 11 more mats that we donated to Christnet. This is a labor of love for our little group. I am so thankful that we found this mission/group. We are not only making mats for the homeless and recycling a huge amount of bags, but it’s 2 straight hours of social hour, stories, laughs sometimes pizza.
Thank you everyone for all you do!

Today we made our Christmas delivery to the Salvation Army Toy closet, there is so much need in our area it was a perfect fit.
Thank you to all the residents, employees and family that donated to make a child’s Christmas special.
A single person can do so much, but a Village…
we can have a big impact! From our Village to yours, Merry Christmas 🎄 and Be Kind to each other.

What a wonderful evening at the Village of Westland! Our little friends from Midwest Tae Kwon DO came to spread some holiday cheer and they did not disappoint! They brought teddy bears for our residents. Lots of smiles filled the building. It really is feeling a lot like Christmas!
Thank you Midwest Tae Kwon DO for taking the time to come and visit us!

We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and productive Black Friday!
Just a reminder if you have a surplus of shopping bags from your Black Friday shopping day, the Village of Westland is still collecting bags to make mats for the homeless. You can drop off your bags any day of the week 9am-7pm. Just ask the receptionist where to put them! Thank you in advance! It really does take a village!

We had our annual Friendsgiving at the Village of Westland! What a wonderful day with friends and delicious food!! We will all be taking a nap if anyone is looking for us! Happy Friendsgiving!
