Perfect day to play catch with water balloons! We played for over an hour enjoying the sunshine and company. Most of us hadn’t played in many years! Nobody minded getting wet on this 90+ degree day! We even convinced some passersby to play! Fun day at the Village

Happy 4th of July from the Village of Westland!
We are lucky enough to have Plymouth fife and drum come here every year and perform for our residents and as usual they did not disappoint. We had chicken kabobs, hot dogs, pasta salad, baked beans and lemonade shake ups. The weather was beautiful. We could not ask for a better day.
We hope everyone had a safe and fun Independence Day

Our Village of Westland’s plarning group is working hard to provide mats for those in need!
Thank you ladies for making a difference! It literally takes a Village and we are happy to do it!
Emma made a beautiful mat that looks like it has sparkles on it by using clear bags! And Audrie created a patriotic flag mat. Great work ladies!

Today we had our annual Father’s Day BBQ for all of our wonderful fathers at the Village of Westland! We had great food and company! Thank you to everyone who showed up to spend the day with their family, and thank you for everyone who worked so hard to make this event happen. Happy Fathers Day 2025
P.S. Did you see the beautiful new white chairs! They were purchased with friends and family money we raised! It was so nice to have these chairs this year!!
