This is one of my favorite Gnostic passages. 🙏🏻

The Thunder, Perfect Mind is an ancient text that was found hidden in Egypt in 1945 with the Gnostic Gospels of Thomas and Phillip as well as others - called the Nag Hammadi Library. The original text is said to have probably been written in the 1st or 2nd centuries.

It’s an empowering message that is written in the first person from the voice of the Divine Feminine herself. And speaks to the sacred union and non-dualism of the Spirit. These writings hold a powerful transmission, potent with the potential to activate a deep remembrance of our Divinity within. ✨

Because these writings contain mystical truths that emphasize the Divine Feminine, pertain to the Christ within our own Self and objectively is a huge threat to modern Christianity, makes them some of the most fascinating and sacred texts I have ever come across.

What feelings does this quote from The Thunder, Perfect Mind invoke for you?

The presentation I offered Saturday evening was one of those life moments where light codes in your soul’s DNA activate and you remember why you are currently alive on this planet.

While I was giving my 2 hour talk about Mary Magdalene to an audience of almost 20 people, I felt so connected with the present moment. The words flowed effortlessly out of my mouth while all previous fear of public speaking was non-existent (overcoming this fear is a journey that could be a book in itself). Combining this with the full engagement, interest and open receptivity of the audience, I was beyond fulfilled.

During my talk, multiple tingly waves traveled up my body that felt like the awakening of pure Shakti - the dynamic divine feminine creative power that flows through all of life.

Even during my drive home I continued to feel those tingly waves light up my spine, confirming that I am in complete alignment with my dharma.

These talks don’t just help to rewrite history, they help to awaken the oppressed Divine Feminine within our own consciousness. Creating space and permission for us to love all parts of ourselves completely while moving the collective into a yuga of balance and Oneness.

Throughout the autumn season I have three other Mary Magdalene events scheduled, including a virtual one on the way. Additionally, keep an eye out for two European retreats where we’ll be visiting her cave in Southern France and her sacred sites in Avalon (Glastonbury) England next Spring/Summer. You can find information in my bio.🌹🌀🌹

Shannon Lynn

Still marinating in the medicine of a beautiful satsang last night around the bonfire with a wonderful group of souls! Our discussion blossomed around ahimsa ~ doing no harm. It wove through the topics of mental conditioning, and not being able to trust our thoughts, to loving and forgiving our enemies to the harm we do when we make assumptions about others. We explored the self harm we create with our own thoughts and when we don’t give our bodily temples nutritious food or exercise.

We discussed what the yama and niyamas are, the great sage Patanjali and some of the oldest sacred texts living in the world ~ the Vedas. We contemplated the yogic mapping of consciousness, the pancha kosha system or the “five sheaths”. We closed our discourse with a short mediation followed by a healthy potluck with lots of laughter. And we even had a visitation by our backyard raccoon!

There was a request for book recommendations so here is a list if you wish to dive deeper and have a framework around your yogic path and spirituality.

For books on the yoga sutras:

- The Secret Power of Yoga: A Woman’s Guide to the Heart and Spirit of the Yoga Sutras. (Even if you’re not a woman, it’s still a worth while read.)
- Patanjali Yoga Sutras: In the Light of Kriya

For books that have played a profound role in my personal spiritual evolution:

- A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle (This one has a more secular approach which may be more easily relatable to most people.)
- The Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramahansa Yogananda. This book is for those of you who have a VERY open mind and ready to dive DEEP into their spirituality. It was highly recommended by both Steve Jobs and George Harrison.

If anyone else has books they’d like to recommend around yoga & spirituality please do in the comments!

Thank you to those who attended and contributed to a beautiful evening. 💞

Please see the link in the comments to register for our next free satsang in October where we’ll be discussing the second yama ~ satya (truthfulness).

On Sunday evening, I was gifted the opportunity to facilitate a Sisterhood Circle of eleven womban. We utilized the auspicious threshold of the coming Autumn Equinox, under the light of the full moon and transformative energy of the lunar eclipse.

Together, we embarked on practices to awaken the Goddess within through the medicine of ceremonial elixirs such as, heart-opening Cacao, and Kykeon (a brew from Ancient Greece). We learned about the mythology and the archetypes of the Greek goddess of the harvest, Demeter. We pulled oracle cards and engaged in self-reflective journaling, opening our hearts and sharing in vulnerable discourse. We held sacred space for each other to release the energies that hold us back from reaching our fullest potential. We laughed, we cried, we joyfully danced and silently meditated through a Yoga Nidra visualization where we met the Goddess herself.

In closing, several sisters shared their transformational experiences that are too private to divulge here, but deeply touched my heart, and reminded me of the profound value of these circles and encouraged me to continue with offering them monthly.

It was inspiring to see many first-timers cultivate the courage to step outside of their comfort zone into unfamiliar surroundings, meet unknown sisters and embraced new practices. Every time we face and overcome a fear, we become initiated into a new way of being in the world. Where we shed layers of the ego, revealing a more authentic Self, and the light of the Goddess within. And when this journey is held in sacred and intentional space of a sisterhood, we can do it with greater ease and deeper trust.

My heart is full of gratitude for the beautiful sisters who attended, for these invaluable practices, and for the Goddess who flows through us all.

If you’d like to attend our next circle in October, please visit the link in the comments.

Blessed be. Jai Ma. 🙏🏻🌹🌀🌹🙏🏻

My lovingly crafted August email newsletter has been sent to your inbox (if you're a subscriber)! Please see below to read my latest writings reflecting on one of the most transformational moments of my recent 3-month pilgrimage throughout Western Europe. 👣
____________________________________________________

Dear Friend,

After taking time to integrate my recent 3-month pilgrimage through Western Europe, I now feel ready to gift wrap one of my most pivotal stories from this expansive journey and offer it to you.

My partner and I began this life-changing endeavor with a month traveling in Spain and settling in the indigenous Basque Country. Afterwards, we explored Southern France and spent time visiting with friends in the countryside. From there, we journeyed to England and completed our adventure with 3 weeks in Ireland.

The story I wish to share with you the most is the one regarding Mary Magdalene.

For many years Mary Magdalene has been with me in subtle ways. From reading books about her to placing a woolen doll of her on my altar. Having my long-awaited desire to visit her cave in Southern France fulfilled (where it’s said she spent the remaining years of her life) was a blessing. While in her cave, I felt as if I was in the womb of the Earth herself, where many seeds of love were planted from the hearts of thousands of devotional pilgrims over nearly two millennium - an experience I will cherish forever.

But the peak moment of this story doesn’t take place in her cave. It’s actually located hundreds of miles away from it in a small town in England called Glastonbury, widely referred to as the mythical realm of Avalon. It’s a legendary place of pilgrimage rich in history and legend, dating back to the time of the Druids. A place where my heart felt as if it finally landed home (interestingly - where many generations of my English ancestors found it home as well, living just an hour from it).

Upon “randomly” wandering into a small gift shop, fresh lilies bathed me in their fragrance as evening sunlight shone through crystal statues of different deities. As if being drawn by a magnetic force, I went directly towards the back of the shop and there it was - a black statue of Mary Magdalene nestled on a shrine dedicated just to her.

Suddenly, waves of awe and love moved through my body, sending tingles up my spine as if an invisible angel embraced me with its wings. The force shifted something within, where I started sobbing uncontrollably (in front of several other shoppers).

A lovely British retail lady came to me with her honeyed voice and offered a hug. She told me that emotional releases were common for pilgrims that are called to Avalon. Because it’s a place which contains high vibrational energy with two of the earth’s energy meridians (ley lines) crossing over the land. And if the timing is ripe, it can cause light codes to become activated in our DNA, bringing us into a state of deep remembrance of our Divine Nature. And with Avalon being known as the land of the Goddess, it targets the awakening of the oppressed frequency of the Divine Feminine.

Later, I learned that there’s a legend that Mary Magdalene also had lived in Avalon. Finding safety from the persecutors of Rome with help from the Druids.

Ever since my apparent light code activation in that little shop, I’ve felt a strong call to share with others everything I’ve learned about Mary Magdalene's lesser-known story. From being falsely accused as a pr******te, to her role as a myrrh-bearer priestess, and as the Divine Feminine counterpart to the Divine Masculine.

Since I’ve returned home, I’ve been focused on this new calling. I created a 1.5-hour slideshow revealing Mary Magdalene’s story from the Biblical Gospels, the Gnostic Gospels, folklore and legends, ritualistic practices designed to activate the Divine Feminine within - including a variety of events for it all to be shared with you!

If you feel called to attend, please see the link below for a list of Mary Magdalene events to choose from and stay tuned for a virtual one for those who aren’t local! You will also see a variety of other offerings that are designed to foster the medicine that comes from connecting with community and remembering your Divine Nature.

With blessings and servitude,
your friend,
Shannon

P.S.

I asked my parents to do some digging into my ancestry. Shortly after I left Avalon, they told me that my great great grandmother’s name was Mary Magdalene with her mother’s name being Magdalena and her mother’s name being Magdalin. If I didn’t trust this calling before, this new discovery cemented it. Her memory is literally encoded in my DNA.

The synchronicities in my life around the Magdalene continue to blow my mind.

For those of you interested in astrology and the Divine Feminine, this is what I recently gathered from receiving a natal chart reading on the Magdalena astroid.

Collectively there is a cosmic push toward integrating shadow and light, especially in narratives around femininity, spirituality, and historical truth. An expansion of spiritual awareness around Mary Magdalene as the oppressed divine feminine while challenging patriarchal narratives and revealing hidden truths has nearly exploded in the collective consciousness. Maybe you can relate?

In my personal chart - with the Magdalena astroid shows an inner force propelling me to expose Mary Magdalene in a bold way whether others want to accept her true story or not. This shows up as the condescending condemnation I’ve been receiving from my judgmental Christian family whenever I do a post about her (which only encourages me to want to do it more). My chart also shows that this propelling force is coming from inheritance which aligns with my recent discovery that my great great grandmother’s name is Mary Magdalene. 🤯

And another synchronicity-the Michigan Druids are planning to come to one of my ceremonial talks on Mary Magdalene. And I recently learned that the Druids are said to have helped her travel safely to England and established a home for her there. 🧙🏻‍♂️

I’m incredibly thankful that Divine Mother has created this path for me with billboards, and neon lights illuminating the way down the journey of reviving Miryam of Magdala. While meeting so many beautiful souls along the way.

So far, I have two events scheduled in September, a retreat in October and I’m currently in the midst of planning a guided week long retreat to her crypt, and two caves (one is less well known - the mysterious Cave of Eggs) in Southern France, May of 2026!

I’d also like to create a virtual talk for those of you who are not local.

Explore my links in my bio to reclaim the Divine Feminine within ourselves, and our lives while we collectively shift from a male dominated age to the age of cosmic divine union. 🌹🙏🏻🌹

May you be blessed on this sacred threshold of Lughnasadh. On this ancient Celtic holy day - may we honor Spirit as it dances with Nature through its fractals of life, death and rebirth. May we celebrate in gratitude the beginning of the harvest season. Whether it’s a hearty piece of bread, the fruits of hard labor, the warmth of the sun, or the life giving moments of every inhalation. May we also celebrate the sacrifice, the letting go, and the necessity of death. Whether it’s giving your bread to others in need, releasing the long day as you settle into nightfall, shedding old patterns of thought that no longer serve your evolution of consciousness, and the closing of the most intimate cycle - the exhalation of the breath.

I honored this day with an introspective pilgrimage to the sacred natural landscape around my home - strengthening the metaphysical lens I use to see Divine Mother in her many forms while using the physical lens of my camera to capture her magical moments in time…

I encourage you during this seasonal transition to spend time in nature, syncing up with her rhythms or in reflective journaling on what this special threshold means for you in your life.

With love. Blessed be. ✨🌾✨
