Today we celebrate registered dietitian nutritionists! For many of our patients, managing their dietary needs is a process that requires expert and compassionate care. Whether a patient is working to be able to eat and drink by mouth again, has specific dietary restrictions, or requires a special diet to manage a health condition, RDNs are with them every step of the way as part of their care team on their recovery journey.

🌟 Patient Success Spotlight 🌟

Rose Rosales came to PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Westminster after a very challenging time. Following heart surgery, complications and a fall left her with a broken ankle and feeling weak. Still, Rose arrived determined to get stronger and return home.

During her 11-day stay, she worked hard with our physical and occupational therapy teams to rebuild her strength. One of the most meaningful moments was when Rose was able to stand on her own again, a huge step forward in her recovery.

Rose often shared how grateful she was for the nurses, CNAs, and therapists who cared for her, even calling them her “Earth angels.”

Today, Rose is heading home with home health, excited to keep progressing and return to the simple joys of being home. Her strength, kindness, and determination truly inspired our entire team.

🌟 Patient Success Spotlight 🌟

Lyle Krebill came to PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Westminster after a stroke left him with speech difficulties, weakness, and impaired coordination. During his 8-day stay, our interdisciplinary team helped him regain communication skills, rebuild strength, and restore independence. Now discharged home with outpatient therapy, Lyle is looking forward to biking again and cheering on his son at hockey games.
