We are on one of our star residents, Cindy McFarline!

Cindy made the Terraces at Westminster her home a little over nine months ago and she’s originally from Laurel, Maryland. She enjoys spending time with her family, loves to shop and go out as much as she can and attend her favorite activities like bingo, bake club, any musical entertainment & parties! Cindy was also crowned our Christmas Door Contest Winner this year!

When asked Cindy what she enjoys best about the Terraces at Westminster, she replied with, “I enjoy every activity you have to offer, big or small. It allows us to have things to look forward to everyday and I really enjoy that”.

This week's Bake Club had a holiday twist!

Instead of sweet treats, we whipped up goodies to build fabulous Gingerbread Houses! Our creative residents dove right in, forming teams and turning it into a friendly contest.

Our Journey’s Residents got to explore Wolfe’s Pine Valley Farm.

Our very own Ms. Jane Wolfe is the owner of Wolfe’s Pine Valley Farm, her and her husband built the farm from the ground up in 1959. They didn’t have a single tree there when they first started, now there’s thousands!

A very huge thank you to Jane & her family for giving us the most beautiful Christmas experience today. We are so filled with joy and couldn’t be more grateful!

For this week’s Resident Spotlight, we’d love to shine our light on the wonderful, Ms. Edna Curry!

Edna is from Westover, PA and decided to make the Terraces at Westminster her home a little over two years ago. You can find Ms. Edna all over the community staying busy attending some of her favorite activities like: Word Puzzles, Bingo, Bake Club, any Musical Entertainments and parties or you can find her visiting with her friends as she enjoys doing that in her spare time as well.

Ms. Edna’s friend’s: Mom & Kids Musical Entertainment provide volunteer music sessions for us at least once a month and we love when they come! We are super grateful they lend a helping hand to do this for their dear friend, Edna!

When asked Edna what she enjoys most about living at the Terraces at Westminster, she replied with, “I just really enjoy all the wonderful things there is planned to do throughout the day to keep us busy. The activity girls know how to make it feel like we’re home even though it isn’t. There’s always something so interesting to do.”

Oh what fun it is to ride in our bus at the Terraces at Westminster!

We sang Christmas songs, sipped on hot cocoa and went to see some of the greatest Christmas lights all around the town of Westminster! It’s the most wonderful time of the year and to hear their stories reminiscing when they too took their family members to see Christmas lights.

With 3 years here at the Terraces at Westminster, Angie inspires her fellow team members to inspire excellence, passion and respect daily. Her talent for keeping everyone engaged is unmatched and never goes unnoticed.

When asked what she enjoys best about her job, Angie replied with, “I enjoy being able to create the experiences we do for the residents.
